Drumming up interest for a Parents Family First Aid class in July.

Course will cover;

* Essential skills for new parents with infants
* Choking, Drowning, Asthma & other Respiratory Emergencies
* Head Injuries in small children
* CPR and the importance of first response.
* Breaks, Bandaging and wound care
+ a question and answer session for anything regarding First Aid and children.

This is an extremely popular session and runs for approximately 4 hours. Please register your interest fast to avoid disappointment.

Are you ready for the Summer Swimming Season?
Last week I found my 5 & 3 year old boys attempting to open the Pool Gate together! They had pushed a chair up against the fence and were nutting out between themselves the best plan to get it open!
This put the fear in me and I have since key locked the pool gates. It got me thinking though- as most child drownings occur in the backyard pool. Would you know what to do if you found YOUR child face down?

I got caught behind an accident yesterday 2 minutes after the Ambulance arrived! 2 minutes earlier and I would have been first on the scene 😬
