Our bodies are approximately 60% water, so it would be silly not to give our body what it needs - especially when it’s as easy as filling up your bottle or glass.

Some pathologies of the foot, such as plantar fasciitis, may benefit from strengthening the tibialis posterior muscle. Strengthening this particular muscle can help improve arch control in your foot. 🦶🏼

A simple way to start strengthening is to place a small ball or a rolled up towel between the heels and slowly rise up and down from the balls of your feet. Ensure the movement is slow and controlled and that you are keeping the ball in place. See how your foot and calf muscles feel after trying 3 sets of 15. 😮‍💨

If you do suffer with foot or ankle troubles, we would always recommend seeing a physio to get your injury properly diagnosed so that your rehab can be specific to you! 🤓💪🏼

James has over 9 years of experience in the sport and fitness industry and has completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and a Certificate III and IV in Fitness.
