Marmion Vet Centre is an independent clinic providing an experienced, personal service to our client

Home Care Mobile Vet has been providing home veterinary services in Perth's northern suburbs and surrounding areas for almost 20 years. We provide a full home consultation service six days a week - including vaccinations, physical examinations, blood tests and home euthanasia. If required, we also offer a modern, well-equipped clinic based in Marmion where our experienced staff are able to carry out further investigations or surgery. Meet Lily 🐱🩷🦷

Lily is a gorgeous 11 year old tortoiseshell/calico princess who had a dental scale & polish with us this week.

We also ended up extracting one of her molars which showed evidence of disease on our dental radiographs.

Dr Amy has just seen her for a post-operative check and she has made a full recovery. ❤️‍🩹 Her owner mentioned she seems much more comfortable eating now as well!

Signs of dental disease in pets can include:

🦷 drooling excessively
🦷 difficulty eating/dropping food
🦷 stinky breath
🦷 pawing at mouth or resistance to oral exams
🦷 plaque covered teeth or inflamed gums

🎄🪓🐶🎅🐾

Did somebody say Christmas party?! 🎉

Yesterday the Marmion Vet Team ventured back in time to the Viking era with a session of axe throwing! 🪓

It was a fun filled afternoon of team bonding and an excellent way to release some pent up energy. Who needs yoga when you could throw an axe?! 🧘🏼‍♀️

Don’t worry, we all walked out with all our fingers too! 🤣

Miss Molly 🐶🎀👩🏼‍⚕️

Gorgeous Molly is a 5 year old Aussie Doodle who came in a few weeks ago for an elective lump removal surgery with Dr Amy and nurse Cassie.

Lumps can fall into the categories of inflammatory (abscess, cyst, foreign body etc) or true lumps derived from cells in the body (benign or malignant).

Lumps are the great pretenders and management varies significantly based on what type of lump it is. 🔬

We sent Molly’s lump off for formal diagnosis (called histopathology) after removal & it came back as a benign lump with clear margins. Yay 👏 No further treatment was required! Molly has recovered well post-op ❤️‍🩹

Buffy looking absolutely dapper in her new boot and inflatable collar combo 🥰
Buffy had surgery and X-rays with Dr Amy last week and was back for a revisit last week. She is an absolute delight and we are always thrilled to see her ❤️

PARVO has been confirmed at parks in the surrounding suburbs!

Please ensure your puppies have had all their boosters and waited the recommended time before socialising!

Check that your older pets have had their annual vaccinations in the last 12 months.

Parvo can still be contracted by vaccinated pets! The symptoms are mild, but viral shedding still occurs.

When booking your appointment please let the team know your pet has vomiting/diarrhoea symptoms, or if you think they may have been exposed.

Please keep your pet in the car when you arrive, and give us a call to let us know you're here so that we can maintain adequate hygiene in the clinic.
