PRIVATE: Body/Energy Therapy appointments of Reflexology, Massage, Reiki, Pranic & Sound healing. Here's a little info about who I am and what my passion is. Everything I facilitate is to Journey Inwards. As we are all different, we may choose different ways or choose a different 'piece of the puzzle'......but it's still about discovering, or re-discovering, YOU. My name is Julie and I have been working with Natural therapies and metaphysics for over 35 years with Body and Energy work of Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Pranic Healing and Aromatherapy. Growing up in Perth, Western Australia my parents were health conscious and very open to spiritual awareness & development. So much so, they were a part of the foundation group of PDA (psychic development association) in the late 70's & 80's. Bringing in all sorts of wonderful people from around the world with different healing modalities, gifts and talents. Body and Energy therapy are a part of my upbringing and natural for me to continue this flow to assist people with their journey. I have always had a 'yearn to learn' and some of my accomplishments include:

My offerings are:

Private well-being appointments for Reflexology, Massage, Reiki, Pranic healing and Sound Healing, either 1 hr or 1.5hr. Appointments are intuitively based often using a combination of modalities and experience to draw upon to help you achieve your highest well-being. Choose your modality, or we can begin with an aromatherapy foot-bath and discussion of what's most appropriate for your session. Reiki and Pranic Healing, distant Healing is also available. I am also a musician (classically trained pianist) and composer and have created music for relaxation, meditation, wellness industries, films, cafes and more

With my love of music, I also resonate deeply with vibrational healing, so it was only natural for me to move into Sound Healing. I run regular public group sessions of:

•Sound Healing & Meditation (crystal & Tibetan bowls, chimes and/or drumming)
•Sound Circles using our voice toning/chanting and/or drumming

PRIVATE group Sound Healing sessions for private/work functions.

•Wellness workshops providing participants hands on insights into their own health and
well- being with easy to learn techniques for themselves and family members. eg Meditation, Massage, Movement & Sound Healing, or Foot Massage & Reflexology. On-line meditations also available through Fb live, pre-recorded through Zoom and Drop box

Do you say yes.....when your gut, or body says no??

Hmmmmm, me too!

Not the, I'm a little scared because it's learning or doing something new 'nerves'

I mean the saying yes to people please, caught in the moment.....kind of yes. Then you're committed, feel a little guilty or irritated with self because it's not what you really want to be doing....kind of yes

What I have learned and definitely pay more attention to now, is how this response, effects me.

*The mental and emotional energy consumed
*My body feels heavier
*Energy levels depleted
*Body systems slow
*Less presence with my family

So, I'm learning to catch myself a little quicker
I’m choosing differently now.

I’m setting quiet boundaries.
It's Ok to say No - without a story or explanation
I’m letting things pass me by, wishing other people all the best.
I’m trusting that what is meant for me, will find me
Saying yes if it lights up my body with enthusiasm and excitement.

It's a learning journey-right??

Sometimes, just stopping to pause, take a breath and check in with the head brain, heart brain and gut brain....to see if they are aligned.

Listening to, and nurturing, Self. 💖

Complaining literally rewires your brain for negativity by strengthening neural pathways for negative thoughts, making them a default, and can shrink your hippocampus, crucial for problem-solving and memory, according to Stanford research. It also releases the stress hormone cortisol, which impairs immunity, elevates blood pressure, and increases risks for heart disease and obesity, impacting your overall health and cognitive function.

🗂️How complaining changes your brain:

📑Rewires for negativity: Each complaint reinforces neural pathways, making it easier and more automatic to think negatively, a process called neuroplasticity.

📑Shrinks the hippocampus: Habitual complaining can shrink the hippocampus, the brain area vital for learning, memory, and problem-solving.

📑Damages the prefrontal cortex: Chronic negativity can shrink the prefrontal cortex, which governs focus, decision-making, and emotional regulation.

📑Triggers stress: Complaining releases cortisol, shifting your body into “fight-or-flight” mode, which over time harms your immune system and increases risks for chronic illnesses like heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.

🗂️The cycle of negativity:

📑Negative plasticity: Complaining creates a negative feedback loop, making you more efficient at harmful habits and seeing the world through a bleak lens.

📑Impact on others: Negativity is contagious and can also damage the brains of those who listen to complaining for extended periods (over 30 minutes), affecting their hippocampus too.
