PRIVATE: Body/Energy Therapy appointments of Reflexology, Massage, Reiki, Pranic & Sound healing. Here's a little info about who I am and what my passion is. Everything I facilitate is to Journey Inwards. As we are all different, we may choose different ways or choose a different 'piece of the puzzle'......but it's still about discovering, or re-discovering, YOU. My name is Julie and I have been working with Natural therapies and metaphysics for over 35 years with Body and Energy work of Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Pranic Healing and Aromatherapy. Growing up in Perth, Western Australia my parents were health conscious and very open to spiritual awareness & development. So much so, they were a part of the foundation group of PDA (psychic development association) in the late 70's & 80's. Bringing in all sorts of wonderful people from around the world with different healing modalities, gifts and talents. Body and Energy therapy are a part of my upbringing and natural for me to continue this flow to assist people with their journey. I have always had a 'yearn to learn' and some of my accomplishments include:

My offerings are:

Private well-being appointments for Reflexology, Massage, Reiki, Pranic healing and Sound Healing, either 1 hr or 1.5hr. Appointments are intuitively based often using a combination of modalities and experience to draw upon to help you achieve your highest well-being. Choose your modality, or we can begin with an aromatherapy foot-bath and discussion of what's most appropriate for your session. Reiki and Pranic Healing, distant Healing is also available. I am also a musician (classically trained pianist) and composer and have created music for relaxation, meditation, wellness industries, films, cafes and more

With my love of music, I also resonate deeply with vibrational healing, so it was only natural for me to move into Sound Healing. I run regular public group sessions of:

•Sound Healing & Meditation (crystal & Tibetan bowls, chimes and/or drumming)
•Sound Circles using our voice toning/chanting and/or drumming

PRIVATE group Sound Healing sessions for private/work functions.

•Wellness workshops providing participants hands on insights into their own health and
well- being with easy to learn techniques for themselves and family members. eg Meditation, Massage, Movement & Sound Healing, or Foot Massage & Reflexology. On-line meditations also available through Fb live, pre-recorded through Zoom and Drop box

The Lymphatic System of a Griever 🌿

Post 5/30: The Body Remembers What the Mind Tries to Forget

There are wounds the world cannot see.
The ones you never speak about.
The ones you try to bury under strength, responsibility and routine.

You tell yourself you’re fine.
You tell yourself you’ve moved on.
You tell yourself that “time heals.”

But your body knows the truth.

Because your body remembers everything your mind tries so hard to forget.

Grief doesn’t disappear just because you silence it.
Trauma doesn’t dissolve simply because you refuse to look at it.
Pain doesn’t leave the body because you decided to “be strong.”

The body stores what the heart cannot carry.

It hides in the fascia, the deepest connective tissue holding your life stories.
It sits in the tightness of your shoulders, the lump in your throat, the heaviness behind your sternum.
It wraps itself around the diaphragm, stealing the breath you need to heal.
It settles in the abdomen, slowing digestion and filling the lymphatic system with inflammation.

This is not weakness.
This is physiology.
This is a nervous system that has had to protect you for too long.

When grief goes unspoken, the lymphatic system becomes overloaded.
Stress hormones thicken lymph.
The fascia tightens and restricts drainage.
The vagus nerve retreats.
The body shifts into a long-term protective state.

And then you start to feel it.

The swelling that won’t leave.
The bloating out of nowhere.
The sudden weight around the belly.
The fatigue that rest can’t touch.
The random pains held in places where memories once broke you.

Your body is not betraying you.
It is communicating.
It is whispering, “There is something here that needs your compassion.”

Healing begins when you allow your body to exhale.
When you soften the areas that have been holding the hardest.
When you release the lymphatic pathways that froze in moments of fear, loss or shock.
When you finally give yourself permission to feel what you avoided just to survive.

You do not heal by pretending the pain isn’t there.
You heal by creating safety for your body to let go.

Because here is the truth:
Your body has always remembered you.
It held the parts of you your mind could not face.
And it is ready to release — the moment you are ready to listen.

Negative thinking does more than influence your emotions—it physically reshapes your brain.
Neuroscience research shows that chronic worry and overthinking trigger continuous releases of cortisol, your body’s primary stress hormone. When cortisol stays elevated for too long, it begins to harm your brain:

It shrinks the hippocampus, the center responsible for memory and learning.

It weakens the prefrontal cortex, which supports focus, logic, impulse control, and emotional balance.

It disrupts neuron communication, leading to slower thinking, increased anxiety, and poorer decision-making.

Over time, this creates a damaging cycle. Repeated negative thoughts form deep neural pathways around fear, doubt, and worst-case scenarios. Your brain becomes trained to look for danger even when none exists.
The good news? The brain is highly plastic—it can be rewired.
Practices like mindfulness, gratitude, reframing your thoughts, journaling, and surrounding yourself with emotionally healthy people can strengthen new neural circuits. These habits restore mental clarity, improve emotional resilience, and protect long-term brain health.
