Monday afternoons are a fan favourite at Bethanie Subiaco Aged Care Home. Our residents always enjoy showing off their competitive side in a round of bingo. We recently had our Facility Manager, Juan, as a special guest who gave the residents a run for their money. 😎

Yesterday some of our team had the pleasure of attending the Rockingham Community Aged Care Expo hosted by The Aged Care Events Community

It was great to connect with the community. Events like this are an opportunity to listen, share knowledge and better understand what matters most to people as they navigate aged care decisions. The conversations we had reinforced the value of clear information, trusted guidance and genuine human connection.

A huge congratulations to Ted, a lively 97‑year‑old resident at Bethanie Subiaco Aged Care Home, who recently achieved an incredible personal milestone.🌟

While visiting the South West with close friends, Ted set himself the challenge of walking the full 1.8 km length of Busselton Jetty. A keen walker all his life, he rose to the occasion and completed it. To recognise this achievement, Bethanie CEO Roule had the pleasure of presenting Ted with a certificate of achievement on the day.

The presentation took place during Bethanie Subiaco’s bright and joyful Flower Power celebration, inspired by the 1960s. With colourful decorations, 60s‑inspired food and a lively performance of classic songs, it was a day filled with energy, music and meaningful moments.🌈

Meet Adin - Customer Service Representative

Adin has been part of the Customer Service team for a year and a half. As a Customer Representative, Adin connects clients, residents, families, and staff across the business. He says the best parts of the job are being able to support our customers, receiving positive feedback about our teams from callers, and the many relationships he’s built across all parts of Bethanie.

Our residents from Bethanie Fields enjoyed a cheerful day out, taking in the beautiful views on a scenic drive through the Roelands Escarpment. 🌻

The afternoon ended on a happy note with tea under the shady silver gums beside St Johns Church in Burekup. A lovely mix of fresh air, good company and simple moments that always bring joy.

Fifty new homes. One established community.

We’re celebrating an important milestone at Dalyellup.

Bethanie Community Housing has reached contractual close on 50 new social and affordable homes for people aged 55+, with construction starting in the next few weeks.

A further 71 new key worker homes will follow later this year – helping increase access to secure, affordable housing in the South West.

With community housing and an aged care home already on site, we’re building on an established community – a place where people know their neighbours and belong to something special.

None of this happens without the right partnership behind it. We’re genuinely grateful to the Australian Government for their investment through the Housing Future Fund, and the State Government for investing heavily in these new homes through regional grants programs. We are proud to be working together to deliver more homes in Dalyellup.

Under the Sea Adventures 🐙

A recent outing to the Dolphin Discovery Centre made for a truly special day. One of our home care clients had the chance to get up close with an octopus, explore the interactive displays, watch the sea life glide by and even gently hold a starfish.

There is nothing better than seeing our clients light up when they enjoy time that feels special and personal to them.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Easter Weekend! 🐰

Our wonderful residents at Bethanie Geneff Aged Care Home started the weekend off right with a fun visit from a local animal farm. From goats and chickens to bunnies and guinea pigs, there was no shortage of furry friends to spend time with.
