🎉✨ As we wrap up another amazing year at Down South Therapy, we can’t help but smile thinking about all the moments that made 2025 so special! ✨🎉

This year has been filled with laughter, learning, connection, and growth. From a first jump and new words to big milestones and quiet wins, we’ve loved celebrating every success alongside our incredible clients and their families. 💙

We’re so grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us to be part of your journey. Your progress continues to motivate us every day. Our team has also loved strengthening relationships within our community and finding new, creative ways to help everyone reach their full potential.

To give our team a chance to rest, recharge, and enjoy some festive cheer, our office will be closed from Thursday 18 December 2025 and will reopen on Friday 2 January 2026. Please check in with your individual therapist, as some may be taking a little extra time off.

What an incredible afternoon at our International Day of People with Disability Fun Day 2025! 💙🧡💚

A huge thank you to every family, client, carer, and community member who joined us — your smiles, laughs and enthusiasm made the day truly unforgettable.

We are also so proud of our DST team, who hosted and ran each activity with such care, creativity, and joy. From sensory play and science stations to crafts, cookie decorating and everything in between — your effort is what brings this event to life every year. Thank you for giving your time, energy, and heart to create a welcoming, inclusive space for our community.

🌍 Today we celebrate International Day of People with Disability! 🌍

This year’s theme, “Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress”, reminds us how important inclusion, accessibility, and community connection are for everyone.

At Down South Therapy, we’re excited to celebrate this important day with our clients, their families, and the wider community at our office on Wednesday, 3 December. It will be a fun and inclusive event filled with activities, connection, and celebration, because creating spaces where everyone belongs is at the heart of what we do. 💚

We can’t wait to celebrate inclusion, empowerment, and the joy of being together.

🌸 Celebrate the Launch of an Inspiring New Book! 🌸

We’re excited to share that one of the incredible young people we had the privilege of working with, Lily Gaulton, is launching her debut book, Blossom!

At just twelve years old, Lily is a passionate young writer living with disabilities, medical conditions, and allergies. She created Blossom to express her own feelings, and Blossom’s, in a way that helps other young people, both disabled and non-disabled, feel understood and connected. Her story is heartfelt, brave, and beautifully told.
