This morning I asked my oldest,
“Can you please cook dinner tonight? I need to work on the towels.”

First, I got all the eye rolling, comments and sighs — the classic teen resistance — which I ignored.

One hour later:
“Mum, can you take me to the shops?”
“Sure, honey.”

She had her list ready. So we grabbed pork, salad, rolls, and a cooked roast chicken (because even I cut corners sometimes 😉).

And here it is:
Pulled pork — Vietnamese style (with very little help)
Shredded roast chicken
Fresh salad
Grilled rolls

A perfect example of the classic teen resistance → quiet competence → proud mum moment. ❤️

This client has been with us since we started.
Every year we produce their tournament towels, and we truly value the ongoing relationship.

This year’s order consists of:
• 100 Tournament Towels
• 20 Club Logo Towels

Below is the time breakdown for the Tournament Towels only.

Time per towel

Stitching: 30 minutes
Hooping: 6 minutes
Thread hand cutting: 12 minutes
Ironing: 2 minutes

Plus washing and final ironing of all towels.

Total time per towel:
50 minutes

Production Calculation

50 minutes × 100 towels = 5,000 minutes

5,000 minutes ÷ 60 = 83.3 hours total

Production Summary

Per towel: 50 minutes
100 towels: 83.3 hours

Working 8 hours per day: ~10.4 days
Working 10 hours per day: ~8.3 days
