“Stop Letting It Bother You"
If it were that easy, you would have done it already.

“Just let it go” sounds simple until you’re the one replaying the conversation at 2am. Until you’re the one sitting with the what-ifs. Until you’re the one wishing things had gone differently.

Letting go isn’t about pretending it didn’t matter.
It’s about deciding it doesn’t get unlimited access to your energy.

You are allowed to feel hurt.
You are allowed to care.
And you are allowed to choose peace once you’ve processed it.

Some things are outside your control.
Your boundaries aren’t.

Where could you reclaim a little energy this week? 🌿

They tell us to "just relax.”

But how exactly are we supposed to do that when life is busy, schedules are packed, and our minds are running a mile a minute?

Relaxation doesn’t have to mean a full spa day or a perfectly quiet house. Sometimes it starts with tiny moments of slowing down.

Here are four simple ways to begin:

Slow down one daily task
Instead of rushing through everything, pick one task and intentionally slow it down. Maybe it’s washing your hair in the shower and taking an extra minute to enjoy the warm water. Maybe it’s sipping your coffee without multitasking. Slowing down helps signal to your nervous system that you are safe to pause.

Take three intentional breaths
Deep breathing is one of the quickest ways to calm the body. Inhale slowly through your nose, hold for a moment, and exhale fully. Even a few breaths can help interrupt the stress cycle.

Step outside for five minutes
Fresh air, natural light, and a short change of scenery can help reset your mind. You don’t need a long walk, even standing outside for a few minutes can help your body decompress.

Put your phone down for a bit
Our brains are constantly processing notifications, news, and social media. Giving yourself a short break from screens can help create space for your mind to settle.

Relaxation doesn’t have to be perfect or time-consuming.
Sometimes it’s just a few small pauses throughout the day.

Which one of these feels most doable for you today? 🌿💛

Hey parents, this one is for you. 🤍

The ones juggling schedules, meals, school emails, laundry, work, emotions (yours and theirs), and the million invisible tasks that keep a household running.

It’s easy to move from one thing to the next without ever stopping to acknowledge the effort it takes just to get through the day.

So consider this your reminder:

You matter too.
Your effort matters.
And the love and energy you pour into your family does not go unnoticed.

Parenting in today’s world can feel overwhelming, but showing up the way you do every day is something to be proud of.

Take a minute today to pause and give yourself credit.
You’re doing the best you can, and that’s more than enough.

Parents, what’s one small win you had this week? 💛👇

Rest shouldn’t feel rebellious.
But for so many of us, it does.

If slowing down makes you anxious… if sitting still brings a wave of “I should be doing more”… you’re not alone.

Many of us were taught that productivity equals worth. That being needed equals value. That exhaustion means we’re doing enough.

But burnout isn’t proof of love.
Overextending isn’t proof of devotion.
And running on empty doesn’t serve anyone, especially you.

Taking time for yourself is not selfish. It’s how you stay regulated. It’s how you show up with more patience, clarity, and capacity.

You deserve care without earning it first.

What does rest look like for you right now? 🤍

March 20th is the Day of Happiness ☀️

If you Googled “happiness,” you’d probably get definitions about joy, pleasure, or feeling good.

But in real life?
Happiness is often quieter than that.

It’s not constant positivity.
It’s not pretending hard things don’t exist.
And it’s definitely not perfection.

At our practice, we see happiness show up in ways that don’t always look flashy:

✨ A client setting their first boundary.
✨ A parent responding instead of reacting.
✨ Someone finally saying, “I’m not okay.”
✨ A nervous system that feels a little calmer than it did last month.

Happiness isn’t the absence of struggle. It’s feeling supported while you move through it.

Today, instead of chasing a big, dramatic feeling, maybe ask yourself:
-What would feeling just 5% lighter look like?

What does happiness mean to you right now? 💛

Today is known as "Read To Me Day." Whether you’re reading to a little one tonight or reading to yourself before bed, stepping into a good book can be more powerful than we realize.

In a world where we scroll, skim, and consume information all day long, reading slows us down. It invites focus. Imagination. Presence.

It gives your nervous system a break from notifications, headlines, and endless comparison.

Reading can:
• Lower stress levels
• Improve concentration
• Strengthen connection (when reading with a child)
• Create a calming bedtime rhythm

And sometimes, it simply gives your mind somewhere softer to land.

So today, consider trading a few minutes of scrolling for a few pages of a story.

Are you currently reading anything you’d recommend? 📚✨

We've all been there. You know… those completely harmless, mildly cringey moments from 10–15 years ago that your brain decides to replay the second your head hits the pillow.

That thing you said.
That wave that wasn’t for you.
That joke that didn’t land.

Suddenly it’s 12:03am and your brain goes,
“Let’s unpack this.”

Here’s the thing:
We tend to overthink social moments because our brains are wired for belonging. So when something feels “off,” our mind flags it as IMPORTANT.

But while you’re replaying your awkward moment…
Other people are busy replaying theirs.

Most people aren’t holding onto that thing you said.
They’re thinking about their own lives, their own worries, their own 2012 cringe moment.

You’re allowed to be human.
You’re allowed to grow.
And you’re allowed to let it go.

Okay, now I need to know... What awkward moment still lives rent-free in your brain? 😅👇

Happy St. Patrick’s Day 🍀

Today is often about luck, but here’s your gentle reminder:
So much of who you are isn’t luck.

It’s resilience.
It’s showing up on hard days.
It’s choosing growth.
It’s doing the inner work.

Maybe luck plays a small role.
But your strength? That’s intentional.

As you celebrate today, may you also recognize the courage it took to become who you are. 💚

Parenting is already one of the most emotionally demanding roles there is. Add in constant news cycles, uncertainty, and the weight of “what kind of world are they growing up in?” and it can feel overwhelming.

If you’ve felt heavier lately… you’re not imagining it.

You’re trying to stay informed but not consumed. Strong but not shut down. Honest but not alarming. And that balancing act takes so much emotional energy.

Your children do not need you to have all the answers. They need your steadiness. Your presence. Your willingness to repair when you’re dysregulated.

It’s okay to turn off the noise.
It’s okay to say “I don’t know.”
It’s okay to protect your own nervous system, too.

You are not failing. You are parenting in complex times.

What has helped you feel grounded lately? 🌎💛

Losing an hour of sleep can throw off routines, especially for families juggling busy schedules. 😴 Give yourself some grace as you and your little ones adjust this week.

But there’s a bright side to losing an hour of precious sleep: longer days are ahead, and spring is just around the corner! 🌷☀️ More sunlight, more energy, and more opportunities to enjoy the season.

Use this Monday as a reminder that even small shifts can bring new light, literally and figuratively.

How will you embrace the extra daylight this week? 💛
