These residents were able to be creative and experiment with different artistic mediums while making beautiful art in honour of Remembrance Day and our veterans ❤

⚠️Please note this construction notice that may affect your commute to Riverview Gardens from November 10th - 21st⚠️

As part of the King Street West reconstruction project, the westbound lane of King Street West will be closed west of the intersection of King Street West at Lacroix Street starting Monday, November 10, 2025.

The northbound left turn lane on Lacroix Street will also be closed. Southbound traffic on Lacroix Street will not be permitted to turn right onto King Street West. King Street West, east of Lacroix Street, will continue to remain closed. It is anticipated that this closure will be in effect until Friday, November 21, 2025. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗶𝘅 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀.

Motorists are advised to follow construction detour signage at all times, as the dates of the closures may change as work progresses. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout the project. The contractor will take every precaution to minimize interruptions, but there may be some inconvenience during work. The Municipality of Chatham-Kent thanks motorists for their patience during this important infrastructure work.

CK Public Health has declared a Gastroenteric Outbreak on unit 4 West here at Riverview Gardens.

ℹ Visitors are strongly encouraged to postpone non-essential visits to unit 4 West as this virus spreads rapidly, causing vomiting and diarrhea. ℹ

Additional Guidelines - Unit 4 West Only:

➡ Residents are not permitted to leave this unit unless it’s for a medical/essential reason.
➡ If you must visit this unit do not visit more than one resident per visit.
➡ If you are visiting a resident that is isolated/ill, you must wear full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) before entering and once exiting, you must remove the PPE.
➡ Hand hygiene is critical before entering and when leaving this unit.
➡ Activities will continue on this unit for non-ill residents.
➡ Residents residing on other units cannot attend activities on this unit.

As a general reminder, please do not visit Riverview Gardens if you are sick and practice good hand hygiene if you are visiting.
