What an incredible night at the Harvest Party! 🍂✨
Last night was all about coming together for fun, fellowship, and giving the day unto the Lord. It was a beautiful reminder that we can celebrate, laugh, and enjoy community while keeping Christ at the centre of everything we do.

A huge thank you to Praise Fellowship Church for hosting such a wonderful event. We are truly grateful for everyone who poured their time, effort, and heart into making this night so special. From the food to the activities to the warm atmosphere, everything was done with excellence and love.

Blessed to be part of a community that comes together like this. 🙏

Thank You City Councilors Rhonda Jubenville and Ryan Doyle along with Ben Labadie

We were grateful to have City Councilors Rhonda Jubenville and Ryan Doyle visit Journeys Recovery Home today. It was a great visit, and we had a meaningful conversation about the work being done here and the realities of addiction and recovery in our community.

Thank you both for taking the time to come, ask questions, and learn more about our program. Your willingness to listen and understand means a lot to us and to the men whose lives are being changed every day.

Getting Back to Living Again

Recovery isn’t just about getting clean, it’s about coming back to life.
It’s about learning to laugh again, to trust again, and to feel the sun on your face without the weight of guilt and shame pressing down.

There’s something powerful about being surrounded by brothers who understand the fight. Men who’ve walked through darkness and are now stepping into the light together. We’ve all lost time, relationships, and pieces of ourselves, but through recovery, we start to rebuild, one moment, one step, one choice at a time.

Getting back to doing normal things, grabbing a coffee, hitting the gym, going to church, working hard, or walking a corn maze 😅 it’s all part of the healing. These moments remind us that we belong, that life still has purpose, and that freedom isn’t just about staying sober… it’s about truly living again.

We’re not who we used to be.
We’re brothers, walking a new path, stronger, wiser, and united by grace.

We hope everyone had a blessed and joy-filled Thanksgiving! 🦃🙏

What a beautiful weekend it was, coming together around the table, sharing laughter, gratitude, and stories that honored God. After our meal, the men of Journeys took the spirit of Thanksgiving to the streets, delivering over 24 plates of leftovers to those in need throughout the city. ❤️ good job men.

We’re reminded that gratitude isn’t just about words, it’s about action, compassion, and giving from the heart.

🔥🎉 It’s that time again! 🎉🔥

We’re so excited to invite you to Journeys Recovery Home’s 2nd Annual BBQ happening Saturday, August 2nd at Kingston Park!

Last year was such a blast — amazing food, laughs, sunshine, and most importantly, incredible support from all of you. We’re beyond grateful for the love we received and we’re hoping for an even bigger and better turnout this year.

🍔 BBQ is from 11AM to 3PM
🎟️ Tickets are $15 at the door (kids under 12 are FREE)
📍 Kingston Park- St. Claire St and Paxton Dr, Chatham

💥 This year’s silent auction is packed thanks to the generosity of so many local people and businesses. From gift baskets to service packages and more, there’s something for everyone. The auction wraps up at 2PM, and we’ll be ending the day with a 50/50 raffle you won’t want to miss.
