COME TODAY !!
Our communities are strongest when we know the supports around us.
If you or someone you care about is navigating addiction recovery, mental health, housing, or other life challenges, this is an incredible opportunity to learn what help is available right here in our region.
The Treatment Planning Open House is bringing together organizations, service providers, and people with lived experience who are working every day to support individuals and families.
Come out, meet the people behind these services, ask questions, and learn about the many pathways to healing and recovery available in our communities.

📍 Walpole Island Sports Complex
You will hear from lived experience speakers, connect with support organizations, and learn about programs that help people rebuild their lives. There will also be refreshments, door prizes, and giveaways.
Whether you are a community member, someone seeking support, a frontline worker, or simply someone who cares about the well being of our community, this event is for you.
Let’s come together to learn, support one another, and strengthen the network of care in our region.

🎓🔥 CONGRATULATIONS OTIS 🔥🎓
Today we honor and celebrate Otis on his graduation from Journeys Recovery Home.
This is more than completing a program.
This is evidence of what God can do in a surrendered life.
We have watched the transformation.
We have seen the growth.
We have witnessed the hunger for Scripture, the prayer life, the leadership, and the humility.
From brokenness to brotherhood.
From addiction to identity.
From surviving to serving.
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
Otis, we are proud of the man you are becoming.
Not perfect. Not finished. But faithful.
To God be the glory for the work He has done and will continue to do.
If you or someone you love is struggling, freedom is possible.

🔥 Behavior modification can only take you so far.
New habits matter.
Counseling matters.
Meetings matter.
Accountability matters.
Structure matters.
We teach all of that.
But none of those things can give you a new heart.
In Ezekiel 36:26, God promises:
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will remove the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
There are many tools that help people get sober.
And tools are great to learn and to use.
But tools cannot resurrect a soul.
“Therefore if the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:36
Sobriety can change behavior.
Jesus changes identity.
At Journeys Recovery Home, we believe recovery is both practical and spiritual.
We build structure.
We teach responsibility.
We form discipline.
But above all, we point to Christ.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
This is what happens when the Gospel meets addiction.
Chains break.
Shame loses its grip.
Dead things come back to life.
There are many roads that lead to sobriety.
There is only one road that leads to eternal freedom.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

Today we want to honour and celebrate our brother Otis Williams and the incredible work God has done in his life through Journeys Recovery Home. 🙌🏼

We are so proud of you, brother. Your journey is proof that God still restores, redeems, and rebuilds lives.

📖 “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

🔥 Last night was powerful 🙏🏻
We gathered at The Barn in Harrow with our brothers and sisters from Windsor, and the presence of God was undeniable.
Worship went up.
Testimonies were shared.
Chains are still being broken.
Hope is still being restored.
There is something powerful about men and women of faith coming together, unified, hungry for the Word, and unashamed of the transformation He brings.
Recovery is not just about sobriety.
It is about surrender.
It is about restoration.
It is about new life.
God is moving.
Lives are changing.
Freedom is possible.

Today we had the privilege of taking care of three work trucks and his SUV, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity.
We are very excited to kick start this new work adventure and see where God leads it.
