December always feels like an invitation to slow down and breathe a little deeper.
Not to become a “new you”… but to support the you that’s already here — the one who’s tired, growing, healing, and doing her best.

This month, I’m choosing:

Hello December ❄️💛
The final chapter of the year always feels like a deep exhale for me.
A reminder to slow down, soften the edges, and come back home to myself after a wild, beautiful, messy year.

If you’re heading into this month feeling a bit tired… a bit reflective… or craving a reset — you’re not alone.
December doesn’t have to be chaotic. It can be calm, warm, grounding, and nourishing.

Here’s to:

I took a few days to disappear into nature — real northern-forest solitude in the Kawartha Highlands. 🌲✨
Slow mornings, forest bathing, quiet breathing… exactly what my nervous system needed.

Now I’m back and SO happy to be reconnecting with all my Perimenopause Solution ladies. We’re stepping into Week 3 of 4, and the feedback has been incredible. You’re doing the work, you’re showing up, and it shows. 💛

I’m also working on some special things for the New Year… and I can’t wait to support even more amazing midlife women who are ready to feel better, live lighter, and actually enjoy this chapter. 🌿

But midlife is the season of choosing what actually matters — energy, rest, nourishment, and the small things that support us today, not the version of us we used to be.

So let’s keep it simple.
Not the “ideal woman” list.
Not the “I should be doing more” list.
Just… what would feel supportive today?

You know I like me a POWER SALAD 🥗✨
And since I’m pescatarian, I build protein a little differently.

Today’s bowl:
• Spinach
• Cucumber
• Sprouts
• Tomato
• Carrot
• Egg whites (the yolks? Those went to the dogs… they are living their best lives 🐾😂)
• Gouda
• ½ Avocado
• + Oysters 🦪 (hello zinc, mood support & midlife glow)

This hits:
• Protein for metabolism + muscle
• Healthy fats for hormone production
• Fiber for gut + blood sugar balance
• Minerals for nervous system support

Some water before the coffee.
A simple protein bowl that feeds my hormones instead of my stress response.

I’ve been go-go-go lately — and my nervous system felt it.
So today I’m choosing a slower start.
More intention.
More kindness.
More nourishment for this midlife body that does so much for me.

Small shifts matter.
And breakfast counts. 🫐✨
