Merry Christmas Eve, everyone.
This time of year has always been my favorite. Nothing can ever take away my Christmas spirit—I’m a big kid at heart!

Although this Christmas looks very different than Christmases past, I’m choosing to embrace something new rather than sink into sorrow or pain. I’m holding space for what is, with softness and grace.

Let us also remember that there are many people who don’t feel the excitement or joy that can come with the holiday season. Many are missing loved ones—whether those loved ones are physically present or not.

May our hearts be kind to those who are struggling this season… and not just during the holidays, but at any time of the year. Kindness goes a long way. You never know how a kind word, or even a simple smile to a stranger, might change their day.

Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday season, and may you be surrounded by love. Let us not forget—love is always all around us. Even when we’re not feeling that frequency, it is still there.

The Christmas season carries a message of hope, renewal, love, peace, and remembrance. It reminds us that even in the darkest moments, light is still being born. It calls us back to compassion, connection, and faith — faith in love, in kindness, and in the quiet truth that we are never truly alone. New beginnings don’t always arrive loudly; sometimes they come gently, wrapped in stillness and grace.

“The winter solstice time is no longer celebrated as it once was, with the understanding that this is a period of descent and rest, of going within our homes, within ourselves, and taking in all that we have been through, all that has passed in this full year which is coming to a close. Like nature and the animal kingdom around us, this time of hibernation is so necessary for our tired limbs and our burdened minds.

The natural tug to go inwards (as nearly all creatures are doing) is strong — with the weather so bitter, people are left feeling that winter is “hard” because, for those of us without burning fires and big festive families, it can be lonely and isolating. Whereas winter is kind, it points us in its quiet, soft way towards our inner self — this annual time of peace and reflection, embracing the darkness, forgiving, accepting, and lovingly embracing goodbye to the past year.

Winter takes away the distractions, the buzz, and presents us with the perfect time to rest and withdraw into a womb-like love, bringing fire & light to our hearth. And then, just around the corner the new year will begin again like a seed planted deep in the earth, we will all rise with renewed energy once again to dance in the sunlight.”
