Your chest is aging faster than your face, for four key reasons:

1. Chronic UV exposure
The chest receives years of cumulative sun exposure (even when you remember to wear a hat) and most people are far less consistent with SPF here. More UV = more collagen breakdown, pigment, redness, and texture.

2. The skin itself is different
The décolletage has thinner dermal support and fewer oil glands than the face, which means it’s more prone to dryness, crepiness, and showing age earlier.
