✨EMBRACE YOUR WEIRDNESS 🤪

I sing along to the radio in public 🎤

I dance while shopping 💃

I make movie and song references that not everyone gets (but I think is hilarious) 🤭

I lose my train of thought in sessions 🫠

I make silly facial expressions 🥸

I use silly voices (basically I’m just a silly person) 💁🏼‍♀️

I yell and cheer A LOT during team sports 🤪

I make poorly timed jokes 🙃

I swear 🫢

I watch The Lord of the Rings; Harry Potter; and The Office repeatedly 🤓

But this is me! Unapologetically authentic. It takes a lot of courage to be yourself. You have to overcome the very real fact that

1) people may reject you
2) people may judge you
3) people may straight up dislike you 🤷🏼‍♀️

AND THATS OK! So embrace your weirdness and let your light shine, my friends! ✨🤩

Hi 👋🏻 I’m Shannon of Support with S ✨

I wanted to re-introduce myself with some personal tidbits 🤭

- I’m passionate about helping youth and young adults understand and work through feelings of anxiety, low self esteem, difficult emotions, family conflict, negative thoughts and feeling lost 🫶🏻

- I support young people recovering from psychosis by establishing trusting relationships and putting in the time to get to know them as a person

- I have always had high levels of empathy. I was once told that “empathy is my superpower.” I feel your feelings with you 💕

- I hear my own voice from my clients. I understand your struggling with that voice in your head. I’ve been there. 🤗

- I am in my happy place when I’m in nature. I love camping and adventuring (see photo!!) 🌲🏕️

- Practicing yoga has been a game changer for my discipline; connection to body and breath; and carving out time/space for me 🧘🏼‍♀️- holds a special place on my heart 🥰

- Travelling has been a passion of mine all my life. 🌎 I’ve travelled across 6 continents. ✈️I love new experiences; culture; making memories; and challenging myself by being out of my comfort zone and having to adapt 💪🏻

- I met my soulmate while out for a random walk ❤️

- I’m in the midst of developing a program I’m really excited about! More to come soon!! 🤫🙊

People often ask me what this bowl of notes is when they come to our home…

If you’re anything like me and struggle to cultivate gratitude when you’re *in a mood* 🙃this could be for you!

This bowl contains written memories; accomplishments; and mantras that have been written by me FOR me. Whenever I’m feeling down, I reach in and read whatever is meant for me in that moment. I find this is easier than “trying to be grateful.” 🙄 We so easily forget the beautiful moments in our lives when we are faced with current stress and challenges. These serve as reminders that we are capable and that we have already done so much in life.

No memory is insignificant. For example, one of those notes reads “epic drives with epic music” which reminds me of beautiful days in the car accompanied by music that filled my soul. 🥰 Some notes are written by friends, where they share a memory we had together. This always reminds me that I’m not alone. 👯‍♀️

I hadn’t picked this book up in a while. I felt called to it today. It gave me the exact words I needed to hear. Of course I then realized it was International Women’s Day 😅 the universe works in laughable and beautiful ways.

For all my ladies, it is time to step into your power. 💪🏻 What does that look like?

✨ Hold firm boundaries AND be compassionate

✨ Be competitive and driven AND support those around you

✨ Ask for what you want AND listen to what others need

✨ Be sexy and sensual in a way that feels good for YOU, not what culture dictates

✨ Be strong AND practice softness

✨ Be caring and giving AND take time/space for yourself

✨ Share if something/someone has hurt you AND limit gossip
