You aren’t going to make progress in your healing journey without know how to regulate your nervous system and WHEN it’s crucial in your daily habits🫶🏻

Almost every women I coach doesn’t know they’re daily habits are adding to the stress load in their own body
AND I didn’t know either before I became a RHN...

Because we are not taught how our bodies actually operate...🙄

THE TOP 3 THINGS KEEPING YOU FROM YOUR GOALS:

1️⃣ EATING WHILE DISTRACTED
Did you know that if you are distracted (watching TV, scrolling, standing, driving, etc.) and not in a seated position, your body doesn’t actually know that you’re eating...

That means your digestive system won’t actually enter your digest state & digest your food properly = stress on the digestive system ( imagine someone threw a water balloon at you without warning you - now your soaking wet because you weren’t prepared to catch a water balloon )

✅SHIFT: Practice mindful eating with no distractions.

2️⃣ SHALLOW BREATHING
Most people don’t actually know how to breathe properly... consistently.

Shallow breathing (short, up in the chest & paused) signals the sympathetic nervous system (ALERT/STRESS MODE). A lot of people are shallowing breathing all day long, keeping you in an alert state because you aren’t giving the body enough oxygen.

✅SHIFT: Strengthen self-awareness & adjust your breathing throughout your day. Breath is one of the most powerful forces in the human body, use it mindfully.

3️⃣ NEGATIVE SELF-TALK
When we speak words aloud, our subconscious doesn’t know if something is real or not. The more your brain hears what you are saying about yourself, it sparks & reinforce that belief in your subconscious.

Eventually this looping negative self-talk about YOURSELF becomes an internal threat = stress signal

✅SHIFT: When you notice yourself using negative self-talk, stop yourself. When you feel those thoughts surfacing, just don’t say them out-loud.

An ode to my 2016 self… 🧚🏼‍♀️

2016 isn’t just a year in my camera roll.
My childhood lives in my body.

Our nervous systems don’t forget being unsafe.
They remember the bullying, the hypervigilance, the masking, the shrinking, the “be perfect so you’re loved.”

Long after the moment passes, the body keeps the score ~
in tension, in anxiety, in disordered eating patterns,
in burnout, in hormone chaos, in a system that never learned it was safe to rest.

Back then, I thought something was wrong with me.
Now I know my body was doing exactly what it had to do to survive.

Trauma isn’t just a memory.
It’s a physiological experience.
And when the nervous system is stuck in survival, hormones often follow.

I had an idea recently… and it involves YOU. 👀
It feels both exciting and a little nerve-wracking to share, but I can’t shake it ~ so here we go.

For months, I’ve been getting DMs asking if there’s a space to dive deeper into hormone balance.

Somewhere to finally understand what your body is trying to tell you, clear your skin, feel confident & comfortable in your body again, ask real questions, and connect with like-minded people who actually get it.

At first, I hadn’t considered creating something like this… but now I can’t stop thinking about it. 🤯

What if there was a space where we:
✨ Learn to balance your hormones naturally through nutrition + lifestyle
✨ Clear your skin and support your body in finding its healthy weight

Burnout is something I’m far too familiar with.
I’ve experienced it in all forms since early adolescence – from overworking, to losing my sense of self + meaning, to carrying the weight of trauma and grief.

For someone who grew up in survival mode - in a chaotic household - my coping mechanisms often intensified the symptoms of burnout in an attempt to protect me. Keeping me frozen so the world can’t get to me.

For years I thought I WAS burnout. I thought I was just a chronically fatigued, sensitive yet also numb person.
Until I finally got fed up. It took me years of studying and trial & error just to figure out what actually works — I wanted to find the path to feel & live the life I always desired.

🤎Vibrant.
🤎Energized.
🤎Connected.
🤎Joyful.

You don’t have to carry burnout as your identity.
