Let’s give a warm, sweaty welcome to Aaliyah!
She joined our team this month as a Power Barre instructor on Saturdays and will be guest appearing during our Sunday Specials!
We asked her a few questions so you can get to know her more. And that last answer... I’m sure she would love if you showed up to class with 😉

My path in fitness:
Growing up as a dancer sparked my deep passion for movement. After graduating, I started going to the gym and exploring different workouts to stay fit, but it was yoga, barre, and fitness classes that truly inspired me. The music, fun choreography, and incredible instructors reminded me of dance and that feeling is what led me to become an instructor myself and create my own classes!
What can everyone expect in my Power Barre class?
You can expect a fusion style workout where you feel the burn move to the beat of the music and leave feeling like a powerful ballerina🩰
A piece of advice for anyone that hasn’t tried barre yet…
Have an open mind! As someone who has a background in dance and fitness I can tell you it’s a great class to challenge yourself, make sure to always take modifications suitable for your body and most importantly have fun!! 🤩
Fave hot drink and go to snack?
My favourite hot drink is a Vanilla Latte w oat milk and my go to snack are the pure protein bars from Costco.
Community to me means…
Being surrounded by a supportive group of people who share their energy with you. It’s the connection you build with those around you in class lifting each other up, celebrating growth, and creating a space where everyone feels inspired, encouraged, and empowered.
