Sundays are for chilling! Enjoy the rest & sun!
It was a busy week as I have started swim lessons and Spin classes in addition to teaching my 2x week Pilates classes and 2x weight training sessions. This feels really good and is challenging me in new ways. Being a student again and having a schedule awesome! Its keeping me motivated and consistent and I'm seeing results quickly.😁
This body isn't going to get stronger by itself.
Stay in the game friends! Fitness is not a quick win, although I do feel stronger each week!
With a 60th birthday coming up soon I do have some specific fitness goals, (8 pullups unassisted, actual muscle definition on my arms, back and legs, drop these 10 lbs put on post-surgery), but I am also recommitting to the long game of good health and good fitness for life.
It's never too late to start friends. 🧡
If you don't know where or how there are people just like me to help you, and really it comes down to priorities and mindset.
If you want to be strong fit and active, you need to act and do the things that s strong, fit and active person would do. Daily, weekly, monthly. Keep showing up for yourself! Do the basics. Stay in the game.
And then enjoy your rest days ..... pure bliss.☺️
