The Roots of Centered Body Registered Massage Therapy

Hello!! My name is Maureen and I would like to welcome you to Centered Body Registered Massage Therapy. I am the proud, passionate owner here. This has been a vision and goal I have had in my sights for as long as I can remember. I am honoured you have taken the time to see what I am all about.

My passion has always been driven by helping people and encouraging them to be the best version of themselves. In particular, through their health and wellness journey. As such, it was a natural fit for me to pursue a career in Registered Massage Therapy.

With over 3080 hours of practical and theory training in anatomy, physiology, arthrology, pathology and neurology; I base my treatments on finding the root cause of pain or dysfunction in the human body. I believe that most ailments stem from some variation of imbalance within the body. Through assessment, truly listening to my patients, and finding their specific needs, I tailor the treatments to reflect the techniques that will attain my patient's goals. In order to meet these goals, I incorporate modalities such as sweedish massage, myofascial release, hydrotherapy, joint mobilization, deep tissue massage, and therapeutic stretching into treatments. For patients that are willing to invest in the healing and maintenance of their body, I offer homecare stretching and/or exercises to take home.

I strive to see my patients leave relaxed and content, if you seek a relaxation massage to drift off into your state of peace, I provide this treatment too.
