As a parent I know it has been challenging parenting kids and teens during this pandemic and in general! I am seeing it in my practice as parents bring their kids in to help them find ways to manage anxiety and depression. There is so much going on emotionally for everyone. I have appreciated the resources I have found through Family Start- Together Centred.
I am learning how to be a better listener, acknowledge and support my kids better. They have monthly events, videos, trainings and workshops to support parents and kids navigating life’s challenges.
They have great resources to help parents approach teens to keep communication open and supportive.
