Thank you to a valued member of our team, Orest G. who treated us staff to a wonderful food experience from Guyana this past Friday. The pumpkin soup, beef empanadas, Dahl puri and curry roti were by far a few of the favorites enjoyed by all.

We at Libbie Young Centre Inc. would like to thank The Salvation Army Lloydminster for the generous donation of turkeys, buns, potatoes and carrots towards todays Christmas Luncheon. We had a total of 12 clients in attendance who all enjoyed an afternoon of food, fellowship and games.

A most appreciative mention to Mentor Joyce D. who was our chef extraordinaire and coordinate prep tasks to those clients who helped with the meal prep. We could not have done such an amazing meal without your help and expertise.

The Libbie Young Centre Inc. Client Christmas Social was once again a success not only because of wonderful clients and staff in attendance but in part from our community sponsors.

🧡 Gratitude in Action – Thanksgiving Dinner Recap 🦃

This past Wednesday, we gathered for our Community Thanksgiving Dinner, and what a beautiful dinner it was! 🍽️

We’re incredibly grateful to our volunteer chefs who poured their hearts into preparing a delicious meal for everyone. Your generosity and care made the evening truly special.

Thanksgiving reminds us of the many things we have to be thankful for—community, kindness, shared meals, and the joy of coming together.
