How does foot reflexology differ from a foot massage? 👣👣

These two treatments seem similar but there are some key differences.
Massage therapy relaxes the foot muscles, relieves tension, and improves circulation.
Reflexology uses targeted pressure-points to restore the flow of energy throughout the body. The treatment usually focuses on the feet🦶🏻, but it can also include the hands🖐🏻, face💆🏼‍♀️ and ears👂🏻.

What are the benefits of foot reflexology?

Reflexology provides both psychological and physical health benefits. Foot reflexology is known to help with many problems from headaches🧠 to sinus 👃🏻 problems and even digestion and stomach issues. These treatments also improve blood🩸circulation with oxygen to organs throughout your body.

📢 New Research Alert: Reflexology in Clinical Care
A recent randomized controlled trial compared reflexology with classical hand massage in patients recovering from coronary angiography and the results are promising!
🔬 The study found that reflexology was associated with greater reductions in pain and anxiety, along with positive changes in vital signs compared to hand massage.
