I have put this off for a long time but as I continue to get more inquiries, it’s time to post.
I will no longer be taking on clients or doing any Doula work. This has been one of the most defining parts of my life. I have been part of a birth story for over 150 families which is absolutely incredible to think about. There has been joy and happiness, worry and grievance. The ups and downs of labour and birth, the difficulties and challenges that come with it all. I could give a million words to describe all of the emotions - and for anyone who has had a baby, you know. I have been honoured to hold space for my clients and help guide them through their journeys.
I absolutely love seeing “my babies” on social media and around Lloydminster as they grow up! Each time I am taken back to the moment they entered this world. I remember the hard work, no sleep and grit that their mom went through to bring them here. I watched as dad held her hand and told her how much he loves her and how proud he is of her. I got to witness two people become parents, whether it was for the first, second or third time.
Thank you to everyone who had me as part of their story. Thank you for your trust. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors who welcomed me warmly when I arrived with my clients. Thank you to our community for the support I have been given.
As my last baby (and beautiful nephew) is almost one, it’s time to make things official and step back. Lol I might make a return back if any other potential nephews or nieces come about, but that’s all. I have loved this time in my life and am incredibly grateful to you all.💚
