I have been having such amazing treatments involving ORGANS- visceral manipulation is a game changer !!!

Your organs are meant to move. Every breath you take, every step you walk, and every movement you make requires your organs to glide and function freely.

Stress, poor posture, injuries, pregnancy, surgery, and inflammation can create restrictions around the organs. When this happens, it can affect more than just digestion.

Restrictions in the organs can contribute to:
• Back and neck pain
• Rib and breathing restrictions
• Bloating and digestive discomfort
• Pelvic tension
• Postural imbalances
• Headaches
• Nervous system tension

Visceral manipulation is a gentle, hands-on technique that helps restore natural movement to the organs. By improving mobility and circulation, the body can relax, function better, and reduce strain on surrounding structures.

Because your organs connect to your fascia, spine, and nervous system, improving organ mobility can create changes throughout the entire body.

Clients often report:
• Easier breathing
• Less abdominal tension
• Improved digestion
• Reduced pain and tension
• A deeper sense of relaxation

Sometimes you may even notice stomach sounds or warmth during treatment. These are normal signs your body is responding.

When the organs move better, the body moves better.

When I first started school to become a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner, a question was asked for us to re-explain what osteopathy was to someone else. As I start to wrap up my learning I keep getting asked what is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy

The Human Body as a Teepee

Imagine the human body as a teepee, supported by foundational poles, each representing a critical domain: anatomical, physiological, and sociological. Just as a teepee requires all its poles to stand upright and balanced, the human body depends on the harmony and interdependence of these domains to function optimally.

When one foundational pole is compromised, whether through physical misalignment, physiological imbalance, or social stress, the entire structure begins to destabilize. This disruption can manifest as dysfunction, pain, or disease. Just as a teepee would collapse with a missing or weakened support, the human body reveals imbalances through symptoms or lesions.

This is where the role of the practitioner becomes vital. Through skilled observation and manual manipulation, the practitioner assists the body in reestablishing balance and facilitating homeostasis. The goal is to restore the body’s innate ability to self-regulate and heal, ensuring that all “poles” once again work together as a unified, stable structure.

As I re read my explanation I can’t help but light up again , realign myself and know I am exactly where I am meant to be helping others through my learnings of Manual therapy.

Look after yourself so you can start to pour from overflow ✨ book a session and let’s start figuring out how to get your body into optimal balance. Sessions can range from 30 minutes to 120 minute sessions. They are never “the same” but always intentional and I hope together goals can be met.

Who woke up this morning with their head feeling a few aches and pains.

Weather changes especially drops or swings in barometric pressure can trigger headaches.

But here’s the part most people miss,
It’s not just the weather, It’s how your body handles the change

When pressure shifts:
• Sinuses can build pressure
• Neck and upper back tighten
• The base of your skull gets overloaded

This creates that:
• Dull, heavy head feeling
• Pressure behind the eyes
• Tight band around your head

What can I do to help you ? ✨✨

I focus on the root cause:
Neck + base of skull release
Jaw + facial tension
Circulation + sinus drainage
Nervous system reset

So your body adapts better to these changes

A few spots open this week and first week of April for
Headache & Tension Relief sessions

Happy Monday

Monday morning we got pulled into the hips -

Did you know your hips can affect pain in other parts of your body?

Your hips are one of the body’s main movement hubs. When they lose mobility from sitting, injury, or tension, the body starts to compensate.

That can lead to:
Low back pain
Knee discomfort
Tight hamstrings
Poor posture

Sometimes the area that hurts isn’t the real problem it’s just where the body is compensating.

Improving hip mobility through massage and manual therapy can help the body move the way it was designed to.

Your body works as a system keep the hips moving and everything above and below benefits.

Happy Tuesday -

Jaw Pain, Headaches, or Ear Pressure? It Might Be Muscle Related.

The muscles around the jaw can develop tension from clenching, grinding, stress, or poor posture. When these muscles tighten, they can send pain into other areas of the face and head.

Common referral areas include:
• Teeth
• Temples
• Ears
• Head
• Neck

Massage therapy and manual osteopathic techniques can help by releasing tight jaw muscles, improving movement of the jaw joint, and reducing tension patterns that contribute to headaches and facial pain.

Many people are surprised how much relief can come from treating the jaw and surrounding muscles.

Happy Tuesday - I got pulled into fascia this morning 💜 myofascial release techniques target fascia , sinking into that layer of your body 🤯 the results are just amazing !!!

Fascia is the body’s connective web.
It surrounds every muscle, joint, nerve, and organ, supporting movement, posture, circulation, and overall function.

When fascia becomes restricted due to stress, injury, inflammation, or repetitive strain, it can create tension patterns, pain, and reduced mobility.

Massage Therapy helps release muscular tension and improve circulation.
Osteopathic Manual Therapy works deeper, addressing fascial restrictions, joint mobility, and organ motility to restore balance within the whole system.

When combined, these approaches don’t just relax the body, they help it reorganize and function more efficiently.

Treat the fascia. Support the system. Restore the body.
