In the late 1980s, Dr. Fred Kahn, a vascular surgeon discovered the healing benefits of Laser Therapy when he received successful treatment for a shoulder injury. At the time, very few Laser Therapy devices were available and this inspired him to develop the BIOFLEX family of Laser Therapy Systems.

BIOFLEX pioneered the use of patented hands-free flexible large surface bicolour light arrays and powerful laser probes that utilize both red and near infrared wavelengths.
