Dear Cherished Clients,

This year asked a lot of us and in turn, a lot of you!

As Juniper grew and evolved, you met us with such patience and deep trust. We opened our doors in a new community, settling into Manotick, and expanded into a larger, more permanent home in Kanata. Through every shift and change, you stayed with us and allowed things to take shape.

We felt your trust in a very real way. It means more to us than we can express. Thank you for your flexibility, your openness, and for choosing Juniper as a place to land, to be heard, and to do your life’s deepest work. We are so grateful to walk alongside you.

✨ It’s that time of year again! ✨

Juniper is once again supporting those in need in our community by collecting donations for our local food cupboard.

This year feels extra special because our expansion into Manotick allows us to make an even bigger impact across the Ottawa area. We are feeling so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give back on a larger scale and support families in both Manotick and Kanata. 🫶

The Juniper team will be working hard to compile items and ensure everything gets to where it’s needed most. If any of our wonderful clients feel called to join in, your support would mean the world.

We are collecting non-perishable food items and feminine hygiene products. Donations can be dropped off during your appointments, and together we can help make the season a little brighter for families in our community.

We are so thrilled to welcome Sharon to the Juniper Team. 🌿

Sharon approaches therapy with the belief that healing is less about fixing what is broken and more about rediscovering what has always been whole. She sees every person as carrying an inner wisdom that knows the way toward peace, belonging, and self-acceptance. With deep curiosity, compassion, and respect for the human spirit, Sharon creates a space where clients can slow down, listen to what life is asking of them, and begin to nurture clarity and trust in themselves.

Sharon supports individuals navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, parenting challenges, relationship conflict, cultural identity issues, race-based traumatic stress, intergenerational trauma, substance use, OCD, and body-focused repetitive behaviours (BFRBs).

Drawing from EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, Attachment-Based Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and somatic approaches, Sharon tailors her work to each person’s unique path toward healing and growth.

We are so grateful to have Sharon bring her wisdom, presence, and warmth to our community. We cannot wait for you to meet her. 🌿

We’re so excited to welcome Kirsty to our Manotick location!

Kirsty has years of experience supporting adults through life’s challenges — from anxiety, stress, and low self-esteem to personal growth and identity exploration. She has also worked extensively with survivors of trauma and is passionate about helping individuals build healthy boundaries and step into their own strength.

Her approach is rooted in compassion, drawing on trauma-informed, person-centred, cognitive-behavioural, feminist, and mindfulness-based therapies. At the heart of her work is a belief in every person’s innate ability to grow and heal.
