30/05/2025
Tomorrow, Saturday, May 31, 2025, the Ottawa Inclusive & Para Sport Expo is happening at Carleton University’s Ravens’ Nest from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This free, family-friendly event is the largest of its kind in Eastern Ontario, bringing together over 25 local and provincial organizations to showcase adaptive sports and accessible recreation opportunities for all ages and abilities.
🏀 Wheelchair Sports at the Expo
Wheelchair basketball will be a highlight of the event. Attendees can try out the sport using chairs provided by the Ottawa Carleton Wheelchair Sports Association (OCWSA). Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a first-timer, this is a great chance to experience the thrill of the game and connect with the local community.
In addition to wheelchair basketball, the expo will feature a variety of other adaptive sports and activities, including sledge hockey, adaptive boccia, and more. Representatives from organizations like Boxing Without Barriers and the Ottawa River Canoe Club will be on hand to demonstrate their sports and answer questions.
