🧧 Happy Lunar New Year! We enjoyed a Chinese Dinner and a Chinese Dance Troupe Performance.

The Horse is the seventh animal in the 12 year Chinese zodiac cycle, following the Snake and preceding the Goat. In Chinese culture, the Horse symbolizes strength, perseverance, aspiration, and freedom. Legendary concepts such as the dragon horse and the expression dragon horse spirit represent resilience, energy, and determination.

We introduced a new program: the “Price Is Right” Game!

This month’s theme was Groceries! Just like the classic game, the resident who guesses closest to the actual price without going over wins the item! Each month will feature a new theme keeping the game fresh, fun, and exciting!

Between Olympic Bingo, Bobsledding, Air Hockey, and Olympic Sports and Flag Trivia, and Themed Olympic Days our week was filled with fun and friendly competition! 🔥👏 Each day also featured Olympic-themed socials, including Hot Toddys with Italian biscotti, a warm cheese fondue social, and Italian Aperol Spritz paired with a charcuterie board for our last day in Italy.

We spent the week watching the Olympics together in our pub, proudly celebrating Canada with friends while enjoying great games, delicious treats, and wonderful company. 🏆🍁 Thank you to all our residents and team members for your particpation.
