New research led by our own Dr. Heather Tulloch highlights an important aspect in heart-disease recovery: relationships matter. ❤️

Published in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology, this study shows that supportive intimate relationships can improve health behaviours, mental well-being, and potentially hashtag outcomes for patients and their partners.

📣 What if the gut holds new answers to type 2 diabetes?
Our scientists, working with partners around the world, have discovered that a natural molecule made by gut bacteria can reduce inflammation and help the body use more effectively.

This discovery could open new paths for treating type 2 , which remains a major risk factor for disease. ❤️
