I promised I would post this so here we go!
Pros:
- it’s free
- gives you live visual and numerical feedback on pitch
- helps you match a tone
- saves and shares recordings
- you can set a target pitch
Cons:
- not always accurate feedback, especially if there’s background noise
- only has support for pitch, no other meaningful vocal variables (i.e., weight, size)
- gender markers… these aren’t even entirely accurate
- the new version is a little bit more of a nuisance to use
….jeez I say ‘nice’ a lot 😳😅
