✨ New on the Brookside Blog! ✨

We’re excited to share more about the Spark Program — Brookside’s small-group recreational therapy program designed for seniors with physical or cognitive support needs.

With no more than 4–5 participants per session, our residents receive the time, patience, and personalized support that allows them to participate confidently. These small groups not only build confidence and fuel the spirit but also help seniors develop and strengthen special skills in a safe, encouraging environment.

At Brookside Retirement Living in Ottawa, we believe staying active, engaged, and socially connected is key to wellness—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

💚 Meet Kelly 💚

A familiar and much-loved face has returned to Brookside Living, and we couldn’t be happier. Kelly is back in a new role on our 2nd floor as our “Den Mom,” bringing warmth, compassion, and a caring presence to our residents each day.

Kelly spends her time checking in, sharing smiles, offering reassurance, and making sure everyone feels seen, heard, and supported. Her genuine care and connection truly touch the hearts of our 2nd floor residents and make Brookside feel even more like home.
