My name is Rosemary and I started my business, The Perfect Smile, in 2009 when the CDHA announced that dental hygienists were finally able to practice independently. An idea struck me to bring oral health care to seniors that do not have the ability to get to a dental clinic or leave their retirement residence. From there, The Perfect Smile was born and a new chapter in my life!

Over the last 12 years, I am proud of the business woman that I have become, the team that I have built, the community that continues to support me and mostly, the healthy smiles that we bring to patients.

As the number of retirement residences in the Ottawa area continues to grow, we must keep up! We are looking for a part-time experienced Dental Hygienist (IRDH) (ideally available to work 3-4 days a week).

Are you a dental hygienist looking for a change, maybe more flexibility in your week? Are you someone who strives in an entrepreneurial setting and wants to work with like-minded team of powerful women? Do you know anyone that might be interested?

An Update from The Perfect Smile™, Your Dental Services delivery partner!

As week six of social distancing begins, we sense that a light at the end of the tunnel is slowly emerging. This is encouraging as we can hardly wait to reconnect with friends, both patients and staff, who we miss dearly!

Julia and I have taken advantage of the six weeks to prepare for a seamless re-booking of patients when the time comes.

Additionally, we have taken several significant steps to ensure that we continue to be your dental service provider of choice.

We have been in constant contact with our mobile dentist and denturist to ensure a speedy return to full dental services delivery. As well, we are excited to be adding an experienced dental hygienist to the team. Carolyn is returning to Ottawa and we count ourselves as very fortunate to have a practitioner of her experience, skills and demeanor joining the team!

We are in the process of rebuilding the website and are planning to provide retirement residence staff with tools to help support their guests (and our patients). By design, we are working with local suppliers as it has never been more important to financially support those in our local community.

As we trust you know, you will always be able to count on The Perfect Smile™.

Delivering dental services to seniors is not about low cost compliant, it about empathy, trust, understanding, a gentle touch, working closely with local residence staff teams… as well as exceptional services delivery.
