Every 2nd Sunday at 2:00pm is Euchre at Orchard Walk Retirement.
Grab a partner (or 3?) and join us on the 3rd floor Mezzanine for a fun filled afternoon of cards. No experience necessary! Residents of all difficulty levels are welcome to join in on the fun.

🎄✨ “For unto us a Child is born…” — Isaiah 9:6

Our home is beautifully decorated for Christmas, reminding us of the hope, peace, and light that this season brings. Featuring hand crafted Nativity Characters, from our resident Gladys. She hand painted these stunning figures and we have the honor of displaying them in our front entrance at Orchard Walk. Thank you!

May every twinkling light reflect the joy of Christ’s birth and fill our hearts with comfort and gratitude. ❤️

Orchard Walk is hosting 2 amazing clinics for the residents in November

Amanda Bolle is back from Ottawa Mobile Denture and Dental Hygiene Clinic on November 27th to service all residents with cleanings, exams, denture fabrications and more.

And Alaa Rida from Greely HearCanada is here on November 25th to do FREE Hearing Aid check ups and cleans, FREE Auditory Testing and Ear Wax cleanings for only 45$ per ear.

Thank you Giddy Up N Go Ponies for bringing some cuddly friends to Orchard Walk today.

Ollie the bunny rabbit and our duckling friends, Oreo and Cookie, were very much enjoyed by all the residents.

From See to shining See!

We were thrilled to have the See family join us for Nona’s Circle of Friends as presenters this afternoon.

Dan was an adoption lawyer and passed his love of justice on to his daughter, Erica, who is also a lawyer. She also gets her name from her father whose middle name is Eric. And she is a beginner ukulele player!

The family hails from Ohio and lived there until family members got married to Canadians and moved North. Dan and Linda wanted to be closer to family members so they moved to Almonte and then eventually Orchard Walk.

They also have a connection to Sees chocolates from western USA. Aunt Mary was a distant relative of Dans and they share the same name. Warren Buffet bought the company and continues to sell the chocolates all over the states.

Make sure to ask them about their Rhino story from Kenya! Or ask about their rat race experience at Mansfield Prison where Shawshank Redemption was filmed.

We are encouraging all residents and staff to Grow a 'Mo and Save a Bro!

In support for Prostate Cancer Research, all month long we are accepting donations for the Canadian Cancer Society and nominations for your best mo. Donations can be made at the reception desk of Orchard Walk Retirement at 1491 Manotick Station Road in Greely.

Nomination forms are at reception, so fill one out for who has the best stash! And the winner will get a super amazing prize from our BINGO Basket.
