We know the weather can be unpredictable. Your therapists are in the office rain or shine. They will always contact you if they are unable to make it in. If you know you are someone who is not comfortable traveling in poor conditions or if school bus cancellations will mean you are unable to attend your scheduled visit in a storm, please contact us to cancel in advance. Often on bad weather days we are already in the office by the time we hear from patients that they will not be able to make it. To avoid a late cancellation fee please plan ahead.

Happy international women’s day! We reject the idea that womanhood and femininity are a monolith. Womanhood is not about being delicate, it’s not an aesthetic, it’s not about being a mother, it not about being the antonym to manhood. Today we celebrate being a whole person who shows up in the world and takes up all the space they choose to. We celebrate the women who inspire us. We are so proud to know and to treat so many incredible women.

MLD massage for post operative patients is a very in-demand service. After many procedures MLD is recommended. What people do not always know is that these services book out 4-6 weeks in advance. If you have a procedure booked where you know MLD is recommended, book your appointments in advance to make sure you will have access to the care you need. We do our best to accommodate patients but there is a lot of demand and only so many hours in the day for our MLD therapists!

The front door of 63 Glencoe locks at 6pm but the back entrance remains open until we close! Save yourself the steps and come to the back to attend evening appointments.

We will be closed for the holidays and have very limited ability to check voicemails. If there is something more urgent, please send an email as they will be checked every 48 hours. For specific practitioner hours, please check our online booking or join the waitlist. Many of our therapists are off for the whole holidays to enjoy time with their families.

You know our girl Tracy! She has been an admin at Triada Health Ottawa for years. What you might not have known is that she is also a massage therapist who recently re-activated her licence as an RMT to come back to clinical care. So sometimes you might see her at the front desk- but these days the best way to see her is to book into her schedule for a massage!

Over the past decade we have seen Pride co-opted by corporations to show support for the community while enhancing their brand. In the last few months we have seen some of that support crumble as other interests came to the forefront. It has been sad and disappointing to see this but in some cases, not surprising. We wanted to take a second now at the start of pride month to remind our lovely community that for Triada, support for pride is not performative- it is one of our core values. Triada is a safe space and we have been so pleased to provide compassionate care to all who come through our doors for the past nearly 6 years.

6 years ago Triada was these three Women applying for a business licence and looking for a location. Today we are 11 women (and 3 men). It is such a blessing every day to be surrounded by and uplifted by such a wonderful cast of individuals. Beyond our wildest dreams. Happy international women’s day from us to you!

If you are able to come to come to the office today you will not have access to the washrooms in the building. Massage has been cancelled at the clinic for today. We are working through acupuncture as well. We are waiting to hear from the building management when we will have water again and will contact patients as needed.
