What you might not have known is that she is also a massage therapist who recently re-activated her licence as an RMT to come back to clinical care. Over the past decade we have seen Pride co-opted by corporations to show support for the community while enhancing their brand. In the last few months we have seen some of that support crumble as other interests came to the forefront. It has been sad and disappointing to see this but in some cases, not surprising. We wanted to take a second now at the start of pride month to remind our lovely community that for Triada, support for pride is not performative- it is one of our core values. Triada is a safe space and we have been so pleased to provide compassionate care to all who come through our doors for the past nearly 6 years.

6 years ago Triada was these three Women applying for a business licence and looking for a location. Today we are 11 women (and 3 men). It is such a blessing every day to be surrounded by and uplifted by such a wonderful cast of individuals. Beyond our wildest dreams. Happy international women’s day from us to you!

If you are able to come to come to the office today you will not have access to the washrooms in the building. Massage has been cancelled at the clinic for today. We are working through acupuncture as well. We are waiting to hear from the building management when we will have water again and will contact patients as needed.

We are a health and wellness clinic. We see people of all different backgrounds, religions, sexual and gender identities and abilities. We know that all people have the same needs regardless of any of these other factors. We all have the need for care, connection, inclusion, acceptance, access, safety and community. We are all people first and all other labels come after that. We know that other people having access to their needs being met does not hurt others, it helps us all. We are watching what is going on in the world around us and we are holding so much space for our patients and community that are feeling the weight of the world on their shoulders right now.

Holiday Hours for 2024- the clinic is closed Dec24th to Jan 1st meaning emails and phone calls will not be returned. However many of our contractors are coming in during this time to see their own patients and clients. Please check individual availability. We hope as we head into a very snowy December that everyone is taking care of themselves and staying cozy.
