✨ Where Art and Community Meet ✨
We’re proud to share that one of our very own residents, Arlene McCarthy, has begun teaching a watercolor art class and her talent, passion, and creative spirit are inspiring everyone who joins her.

Arlene has studied and exhibited her work through the Quest Art School and Gallery in Midland, bringing years of experience, artistry, and heart to everything she creates.

💛 Now, she’s sharing that gift with all of us.
Her class brings residents together to explore colour, technique, and imagination in a joyful and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a beautiful reminder that art has no age, only passion.

We are truly grateful to have her artistry shining within our community.

✨ It was another day filled with magic at Wellington West. ✨
We had the privilege of welcoming Valentina Kotko, an extraordinary pianist whose talent and heart continue to shine so brightly.

From her beginnings at the renowned Gnessin Institute in Russia to her celebrated career across Canada, Valentina has spent her life sharing music at its highest level. And today, she shared that gift with us.

🎹 Her performance moved the entire room, soft smiles, closed eyes, and a quiet stillness as every note washed over us. It’s a rare blessing to witness such artistry up close.

💛 We are deeply grateful to have an artist of her calibre still performing, still inspiring, and still touching lives with her music.

🇨🇦 Remembrance Day at Wellington West 🇨🇦

Today, our community came together for a touching and heartfelt Remembrance Day ceremony. Residents, families, and team members gathered in unity to honour the brave men and women who sacrificed so much for the freedoms we cherish.

We shared stories, stood in silence, and listened with emotion as we remembered those who served, and those who continue to serve with courage, dignity, and unwavering dedication.

A special thank you to our residents who joined us and to everyone who helped make this ceremony meaningful.

We will remember them. ❤️

Our residents, families, and team had a fang-tastic time celebrating Halloween together! From creative costumes and festive décor to sweet treats and laughter filling the halls, the spirit of the season was alive and well. 🕸️🧡

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event so special your energy and enthusiasm made it an unforgettable afternoon!

We can’t wait for our next community celebration… but for now, we’re still smiling from all the Halloween magic. ✨

💆‍♀️✨ Spa Day at Wellington West Pure Bliss! ✨💆‍♀️

Our residents were treated to an afternoon of pampering and indulgence beautifully organized by Mirjana 💖

From champagne and macarons 🥂🍰 to facials, hand massages, and soothing paraffin treatments, every detail made the day feel like a luxury retreat.

The area was filled with soft music, laughter, and relaxation. The glow on our residents’ faces says it all! 🌸

A heartfelt thank you to Mirjana and Elske for creating such a special experience. What a perfect reminder that self-care has no age limit. 🌿✨
