I also exercise for pain prevention and mental health. My body hurts and my mood goes sideways if I don't move my body.

Wanna eat more beets, but don't like to cook them?
Try this super quick and tasty,
4- ingredient Beet Coleslaw. Kid-approved to boot!

How to make it:

In a large bowl, combine 1 large peeled, cored, and grated apple, 1 peeled and grated beet (1 large or 2 small), and 1 large crated carrot. Drizzle with 4 TBS of natural apple juice. Done!!!

Health benefits of beets:
Great source of fiber, antioxidants, vitamin C, and minerals magnesium, potassium, and iron. Beets help improve blood flow and blood pressure, and can increase your exercise performance!

I have loved sauerkraut since I was a kid, I gobbled it up whenever possible.
This Kim Chi sauerkraut might just be my favorite OF ALL TIME. And that's saying a lot.

This brings me to my healthy gut tip #2:
🌱A forkful of saurkraut a day! If you aren't a fan, try a teaspoon of just the juice, get er down.

Why?
Fermented vegetables are loaded with probiotics --- those lovely bacteria that inhabit your gut and do REALLY important things for you.
Like:
🌱Help you absorb your nutrients
🌱Produce serotonin
