We’re temporarily operating out of 239 Elgin Street while our main space undergoes renovations.

Our last day to stop by for adjustments, pickups, or shopping is December 23. We’ll reopen in the new year on January 2.

PhotoFusion lenses are photochromic/transitions lenses, meaning they will tint in the sun! ☀️

A reminder for anyone who needs to be seen before the end of the year: Friday, Dec 19 is our last day for eye exams. Dec 23 is the final day to visit us (at our temporary location, 239 Elgin St.) to pick up orders, come in for adjustments, and shop! 🎄

New Temporary Entrance & Location starting tomorrow!

We’re officially closing our main storefront at 237 Elgin during renovations. 🛠️ Starting Monday, December 15th, you’ll find us at our temporary location and entrance at 239 Elgin, on the corner of Elgin St & Cooper St.

Our temporary setup will be a little cozy (okay… very cozy), so please bear with us while we make it work! We promise the same friendly Eyemaxx experience - just with fewer square feet and maybe a few more boxes. 😅 No matter the space, our team is always happy to take care of you!

As a small thank you for visiting us in our temporary home, enjoy 10% off eyewear(frames, lenses, and even sunglasses) during this time.

And for contact lens orders, just a reminder that we can ship directly to your home for added convenience!

Holiday + Reno break incoming! 🎄🔨We will be closed from December 24 to January 1. If you need to pick up an order, please do so by December 23. We reopen on January 2!

Phones and emails won’t be monitored during this time. For any eye emergencies, please visit an urgent care clinic.

If you’ve visited us recently, you may have heard a little extra activity - some drilling, a few bangs, and whispers of change.

We’re excited to share that Eyemaxx is renovating so we can continue caring for our community the way we always aim to. As Eyemaxx grows, we want to ensure our space grows with us. Your visit may look a little different as construction evolves, and we cannot express how much we appreciate your understanding. We’re working hard to make this transition as seamless as possible. We’re excited, a little nervous, and truly hoping you’ll love what’s coming.

In the new year, you’ll see:
• An additional exam room to improve appointment availability
• New testing equipment to support your long-term eye health
• A more open, inviting showroom with expanded eyewear options
• And last but not least... a washroom! IYKYK 🙌🙌

Our December Food Drive is officially underway! 📦🌟 From now until Dec 17, we’re collecting non-perishables in support of the Centretown Community Food Centre and the amazing work they do for our neighbours. 🫶

Whether you’re coming in for an appointment, or just looking for a place to drop off a donation, you can stop by during store hours and add non-perishable items to our donation box. Thank you for helping us share a little extra kindness. ❤️

Last call for 2025 eye exams! 👀
Our final exam day of the year is Friday, Dec 19th. If you need to use your insurance before year end or you’re due for a check up, now’s the time to book! Limited availability remains. Our doctors return Sunday, Jan 5th.

And just a reminder: Dec 23rd is our last day open before the holidays for pick-ups, adjustments, and shopping.
