As a mama of four, dealing with a post-concussion syndrome and PTSD can be very challenging at times. Grateful that my kiddos understand that sometimes I must wear my noise canceling headphones to function. Shoutout to all parents dealing with a trauma. Sending love & patience. 💖

Don't just wear orange today, take a moment to send loving energy to the victims and their families. As a mother, I am deeply disturbed about the atrocities that took place in residential schools and the length of time it took the government to acknowledge they had occurred. Declaring a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a step in the right direction but more awareness, education and support is required. Thank you Jenny at the Misiwe Ni Relations Healing Lodge for your tirelessly work as a Truth & Reconciliation Advocate and Educator. I love you and so grateful for all that you do. If you don't already follow Jenny, I highly recommend you do to see how you can help. 🧡

Nobody could have predicted what has transpired over the past four weeks. It's definitely been a rollercoaster ride. Looking back at photos of our Mexico trip, I'm feeling a mix of emotions, but the one that stands out the most is GRATITUDE. 💖
