Muscles for Life Massage Therapy, Personal Training, MenoFitness The course has been approved by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario for Continuing Education Credits.

Amy is a Registered Massage Therapist and Certified Fitness Trainer with more than a decade of experience in the Ottawa area. She specializes in Menofitness, a branch of personal training that addresses the specific needs of peri- and postmenopausal women. She has treated everything from the common pathologies of non-athletes to the specialized needs of high-performance athletes, Olympic contenders and paraplegic athletes. Her massage approach includes Swedish and Non-Swedish techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Active Isolated Stretching and PNF, joint mobilizations and muscle energy techniques. Amy has worked as an aerobics instructor and personal trainer in numerous gyms and recreation centres, where she’s lead bootcamps, cardio-kick boxing classes and low/high-impact aerobic classes. Her combined experiences in massage therapy and personal training give her a unique insight into both short-term treatment and long-term rehabilitation, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life for her clients. Recently, she developed a Muscle Anatomy course for registered massage therapists, fitness providers and the general public. Amy is currenlty 47 yrs old, married, and the mother of a 5yr old daughter.

The 6 BONUS classes are 30 minutes and will be offered BIWEEKLY on Sundays at 10AM.
These classes will consist of mobility/stretch techniques, core strengthening, & MORE!

ALL YOU NEED IS SPACE FOR A MAT AND HAND WEIGHTS.
EXERCISE BANDS/LOOPS AND CHAIRS WELCOME!

MODIFICATIONS ARE OFFERED MAKING IT MORE INCLUSIVE FOR BODIES OF ALL SHAPES,
SIZES & ABILITIES. BEGINNERS ARE WELCOME!

TUESDAY NIGHT VARIETY AND/OR THURSDAY NIGHT TABATA

TUESDAY NIGHT CLASSES INCLUDE: Working with free weights, Circuits, Intervals, Kickboxing, Iron Yoga, Tabata, Core/Abs, Body Weighted Exercises & Stretch.

TIME: 6:30pm-7:30pm*

1X A WEEK= 8 classes - $80.00
2X’S A WEEK= 16 classes - $150.00

ALL YOU NEED IS INSIDE OR OUTDOOR SPACE FOR A MAT AND HAND WEIGHTS!

BRING YOUR DEVICE OUTSIDE AND ENJOY A WORKOUT IN THE PRIVACY AND CONVINENCE OF YOUR OWN BACKYARD!

MODIFICATIONS FOR ALL LEVELS OF FITNESS PROVIDED!

***Actual workout time will be approximately 40-45 min. You can choose to leave zoom after the workout or stay on for cool down and stretch.

Classes are on Zoom.

Recordings of the classes will be sent to you if you miss a class or would like to do it another time that works best for you.

Ladies!!! Let’s get strong together! My Ladies Only Online Spring Fitness Session starts up Tues April 6th!! Registration now open!

Info:
Runs for 12 wks.
Sign up for Tues, Thurs nights or both.
Time: 7pm to 8pm
Tues nights is strength training/Circuit or Interval Training with light weights. Some nights we add cardio as well.
Thurs nights is Tabata/HIIT and Abs.
All classes are full body workouts including abdominals and core.

All fitness levels are welcome!!!

All you need is a mat and hand weights for your fitness level. Most start with 3-5lbs dumbbells. Devices can be brought outside with the nice weather!

Basic Zoom app is needed.

Lots of variety each week no class is the same!!
Lots of options for beginners up to advanced exercises. Modifications always provide, even using a chair if need be.
All ages welcome! Most of my team is 35yrs and up to 65yrs.

We are a great team of ladies and have made huge gains with increased strength and endurance even with Covid and teaching online this past yr.
This is not a bootcamp class, not cross fit, not aerobics. No choreography.

Focus is learning how to do strength training exercises, with and without weights, safely and with maximum benefits. Functional movements and balance as well!

I am taking registration for my LADIES ONLY ONLINE winter fitness variety session. All fitness levels are welcome! Starts this coming Tues Jan 5th!!
It runs for 12 wks but you have the option of going month to month.
Classes are Tues and Thurs nights at 7pm-7:45pm on Zoom. Choose one or both nights. Prices vary.
Every class is different! All you need is a mat on the floor, space wise, and some dumbbells of your choice!

LADIES ONLY FITNESS-WINTER SESSION 2020

I only have a few spots left for my winter session starting Tuesday Jan 7th To March 31st. Runs from 7-8pm for 12wks with March break off.
The class is a mix of one wk being circuit or interval training and alter wk being Tabata (HIIT) class.
Location: Ukraine banquet hall/Church on Byron Ave between Sherbourn Ave and Woodroffe Ave.
All you need is some hand weights and a yoga mat.
