Mid-February got you feeling blah and bloated? ❄️ This Golden Turmeric Lentil Soup is your 10-minute hug in a bowl. It is loaded with fiber for happy digestion, anti-inflammatory spices for hormone balance & immunity, and plant protein to keep you full without the crash.
15 simple ingredients • Serves 4 generous bowls (≈1¾ cups each) • Total time: 10 min
Ingredients
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 large onion, diced
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 carrots, diced
• 2 celery stalks, diced
• 1 cup red lentils, rinsed
• 4 cups vegetable or bone broth
• 1 tsp turmeric
• ½ tsp ground ginger
• ¼ tsp cinnamon
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 1 can (400 ml) full-fat coconut milk
• 2 big handfuls spinach
• Juice of 1 lemon + extra wedges
• Fresh parsley or cilantro to finish
Instructions
    1    Heat oil in a large pot over medium. Sauté onion, carrots & celery 5-6 min.
    2    Add garlic + spices. Stir 1 min until fragrant.
    3    Add lentils + broth. Simmer 20 min until lentils are tender.
    4    Stir in coconut milk + spinach. Cook 2-3 min.
    5    Optional: blend half for creaminess. Finish with lemon juice.

“I wish I had connected with Caven way sooner! I can say nothing but positive things about my experience. Jenni was exceptionally supportive and we laughed our way through every step of the way.

I came into the program struggling with some digestive issues and feeling not so confident in how I was looking going into my 30th year. I have always kept up with physical activity but all of that hard work was not showing and what I was putting into my body was keeping me “stuck”.

During the 12-week reboot we made a ton of healthy changes to “clean up” my diet and routines. The changes made were gradual and built on one another- but the positive results (inside and out) happened faster than expected!

Despite several weddings, bachelorette parties, and summer BBQ’s, I had the support to make balanced choices that allowed me to participate in the fun, while also feeling better than I ever have. From week 1 to week 12 I went from 32.4% to 25.5% body fat, and more importantly , I have endless energy, improved self-confidence, and my digestive issues are significantly improved.

I was given hundreds of incredible recipes that I can continue to use after the program, and invaluable advice to guide me in continuing to take care of myself moving forward. Who said meat can’t be a treat?!!
Perhaps a side of mashed potatoes and arugula would make it complete!

Ingredients:
1lb Pork Tenderloin
2 Apples (sliced)
4 parsnips (chopped)
1 Spanish Onion (diced)
2 Tbsps Maple Syrup
1 Tbsp cinnamon

Cut slits into your pork tenderloin about 3/4 of the way through. Wedge half of the apple slices into the slits.
Add remaining apples, parsnips and onions to the bottom of the slow cooker. Lay the pork tenderloin on top. Drizzle maple syrup and sprinkle cinnamon over everything. Cook on low for 4 hours.
Remove pork and vegetables from the slow cooker and divide onto plates. Enjoy!

The perfect healthy snack to celebrate Halloween Week-end!

Blend:
3/4 cup almond milk (or your favourite milk)
1/2 cup puréed pumpkin
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 medjol dates
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Pinch of sea salt
Handful ice cubes

*Add protein powder and extra milk to turn it into breakfast!
