While there were highlights in 2016, I felt stalled in my career and my sporting life.

🩺Work for good, but feeling less rewarding.

🥏I had tried out for Team Canada Ultimate frisbee a few times, but got cut.

🎶 My all time favourite band lost their lead singer.

In 2026 I'm so grateful for:

⭐The courage I've had to change how I approach my business

🚀 The tenacity to keep putting my name in for Team Canada 🇨🇦

🥰The privilege to learn how to appreciate the people I love.

With 6 countries represented for the inaugural year in this division.

Goes to show that women over the age of 37 can still play hard, have fun and show the world that women's sports matter....at all ages!

Recovery includes so many things at different stages of life.

And while I've done the core work, I'm lifting weights, eating well and increasing my VO2max and taking time to sleep and rest... My core muscles need a bit more ♥️.

And thanks to I've added tape to my arsenal of tools to enhance my performance while on my recovery journey.

I used the tape here at the World Beach Ultimate Championships in Portugal as I represent Team Canada in the womens grandmasters division.

I've (slowly) learned that the moment you step out of your comfort zone, it feels icky 😬.

😳Nervous
🤢Tummy weirdness
🏃‍♀️A desire to run away (one of my favourites)
🫣A need for distraction
🤬Irrational anger

But I'm learning that if I want something to change in my life, if I want to make a bigger impact in this world, if I want to inspire and encourage women everywhere to be the best version of themselves, well then...
🏃‍♀️ will have to become 💪

What's one thing you want to pursue or change in your life that's causing you some discomfort?
