The 2026 Preston Street Criteriums are set for Sunday, June 14th, and we are ready to partner with businesses and organizations for a day of high-energy action in Ottawa's Little Italy.

FYI, applications are now being accepted for the National Capital Region Bursary for 2025. All the information and details, including the key elements that must be included in the application, can be found here: https://www.ncrcyclingbursary.com/ .
The bursary is open to all cycling disciplines and the objective is to help athletes advance to higher levels of competition outside of the National Capital. Questions can be sent to

Every year, our region produces outstanding new riders with huge talent and there is no doubt that more are on the way.

The National Capital Region cycling bursary of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is proud to announce the recipients of funds for 2024. Every year, the youth races at Preston Street are a highlight of the day and the number of participants keeps growing. BRO proudly donates $10 to the Children's Hospital Of Eastern Ontario for every youth rider and this year the amount was $1550 . Thanks to all those current and future stars who continue to make the Preston races a highlight event for the cycling community.

We have the beer for the winners! 🍻

One of the great things about organizing Preston St, is being able to meet amazing people doing great things. Matt and Tess of Tooth and Nail Brewing Company are great examples. We are so proud and happy to have their support and we encourage everyone to support them and let know you too appreciate their support of the bicycle community.

The Men's and Women's Elite winners will win their weight in beer (each of those cases is 12.2kg, so do some math on how many cases you might win!) and the podiums of the other events will receive a 4 pack of beer as well (as long as they are of drinking age).
