In naturopathic principles, we call these Obstacles to Cure".

These can be disease processes, external pathogens, genetic susceptibility, behavioural and lifestyle factors, among others. How can we reduce these susceptibilities and remove these obstacles paving the way for growth and healing?

So many analogies to health and healing in nature.

Thanks to all the friendly faces: patients and colleagues I got to see in Ottawa this time.

Professional continuing education seminar. Check. Always excited to learn more in the women's health space.

Back in the office at the Ottawa Integrative Health Centre. Check. Always so rewarding to be face to face in person.

Even made some time for some self care with a massage with Catherine Hansen, RMT AND low level laser therapy treatment with Dr Owen Wiseman, ND. Amazing modalities and practitioners at the OIHC!! Feeling great.

I'll be back seeing patients starting August 28th. Contact the Ottawa Integrative Health Centre to pre- book your consult.

I will be taking a few weeks off starting tomorrow to attend to some personal transitions (yes, another overseas relocation).
