A very successful grand opening was enjoyed last night here at Recovery Ottawa West. The physicians and staff would like to send a very big thank you to everyone who attended the open house. It was great to see some familiar faces, as well as meeting many new people who share the same passion for making a difference in the community.

The Recovery Ottawa West addiction treatment centre in Bells Corners has almost 100 registered patients only six weeks after opening, exceeding their expectations.

Recovery Ottawa West’s primary mandate is to provide treatment for addiction to opioids (he**in and other morphine derivatives, synthetic prescription painkillers like codeine, oxycodone, he**in, and fentanyl).

At Recovery Ottawa West, we believe in treating the whole person. Our program includes a physical examination, testing, treatment, and counselling.

Our support team includes addiction physicians, nurses, pharmacists and qualified addiction support workers. All of our staff are committed to treating our clients with the compassion, courtesy, and respect that they deserve.

Treatment protocols will vary depending on the patient’s physical health and the type of substance abuse. After the physician has prescribed a treatment protocol, patients will have an immediate consultation with the pharmacist. In most cases, the pharmacist can start dispensing treatment immediately.
