🧦 for World Down Syndrome Day

Today, people around the world celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing bright, mismatched socks. Why socks? Because chromosomes look a bit like socks, and the extra chromosome that people with Down syndrome have is what makes this day so meaningful.

The 2026 theme focuses on ensuring that people with Down syndrome have the support they need to live full, inclusive lives. When communities provide the right supports in education, employment, and daily life, everyone benefits.

So pull on your most colourful socks and join the global movement to celebrate inclusion, awareness, and opportunity. 🧦

Progress rarely happens all at once. It grows from small moments of courage, a supportive conversation, and someone believing in what’s possible. At PPRC, we see every day how guidance, opportunity, and community can open doors that once felt out of reach.

Keep moving forward. The next chapter may be closer than you think.

International Women’s Day | March 8

Today we celebrate the strength, leadership, and achievements of women everywhere. When women support one another, share knowledge, and open doors, everyone moves forward.
