The 2025 Ottawa Hunger Report is here.

In 2025, there were 588,866 visits to food programs across our network—a record high that tells a story of resilience, compassion, and community. Behind each visit is a neighbour seeking help, and a network stretched beyond its limits.

Food insecurity isn’t just about food. It’s about what’s missing in our systems: affordable housing, fair wages, and social supports that help people get back on their feet.

This year’s report explores the growing food insecurity emergency in our city and the urgent need for change so that no one in Ottawa is left behind.

🚐 Your Gift Moves us Forward – Join the Caravan!

At Carlington Community Health Centre, we believe that health is a shared journey. 💛

💡 At Carlington Community Health Centre, we’re always exploring innovative ways to deepen connections with our supporters — and AI is opening exciting possibilities!

A recent Globe and Mail article, “How charities deepen donor insights with AI,” highlights how technology can help organizations understand and engage donors more effectively. Our Executive Director, Yacouba Traoré, is leading the way in exploring these tools to ensure our community engagement and fundraising are smarter, more personalized, and mission-driven.

By leveraging innovation, we can focus on what truly matters: building meaningful relationships, amplifying our impact, and ensuring that every contribution helps create healthier, stronger communities.

The future of fundraising is here, and we’re ready to embrace it!
