The Art of a Good Death exhibit is open at The Ottawa Art Gallery. Featuring the winners of a national art competition, works depict how artists interpreted the research on end-of-life care and what it means to 'die well'.
Sarina Isenberg, Chair in Mixed Methods Palliative Care Research at Bruyère Health Research Institute and visual artist Jennifer Kershaw, who won the Creativity in Communication Research category of the competition, spoke on CBC Ottawa Morning last week about the unique exhibit that aims to start conversations we may otherwise find difficult.

L’exposition « L’art de bien mourir » est maintenant présentée à la Galerie d’art d’Ottawa. Les œuvres exposées, mettant en vedette les lauréats d’un concours artistique national, illustrent la façon dont les artistes ont interprété les recherches sur les soins de fin de vie, ainsi que ce qu’on entend par « bien mourir ».
Sarina Isenberg, chaire de recherche par méthodes mixtes en soins palliatifs à l’Institut de recherche Santé Bruyère, et l’artiste visuelle Jennifer Kershaw, qui a remporté le prix dans la catégorie Créativité dans la diffusion de la recherche, ont parlé la semaine dernière à CBC de cette exposition unique, qui vise à susciter des conversations que nous pourrions autrement trouver difficiles.
