3 Tips to Manage Money Stress
I’ve been meeting so many people lately who are feeling financially stretched and worried, and it’s affecting more than just their bank accounts. When money stress builds up, it impacts sleep, mood, decision-making, and even how present we feel with the people we love. It can take over your mind before you even realize it’s happening. So here are three simple practices that can help you feel more grounded and in control this month:
1️⃣ Cap It
Create a real, honest budget. Write it down on paper, allocate what you can truly afford, and give yourself permission to stay within your numbers. You don’t need to impress anyone or overextend yourself. When you cap your spending, you protect your peace.
2️⃣ The 48-Hour Rule
Before buying something, pause for two days. Leave it in your online cart or keep it on your list. Most impulses fade when we revisit them with a clearer mind. If you still want or need it after 48 hours, then it becomes a conscious choice rather than emotional spending.
3️⃣ Shop With Intention
Instead of coming from guilt, pressure, or “I have to,” shift your mindset to “I choose to.”
Choose from a place of joy, alignment, and light. When your spending matches your values and your budget, it feels empowering rather than draining.
As you move through this month, be gentle with yourself. Stay mindful, stay intentional, and remember that your peace is worth protecting.
