When you’re becoming the highest version of yourself it’s messy AF!
And there are some people who are going to watch you in your messy phase and write you off! For whatever reason… they’re going to see you as below them. And that’s fine.
But if you’re anything like me, (and you probably are because you’re reading this), then you’re building something. You’re building a vision that doesn’t fully make sense yet. But I know you’re going to do it. I believe in you.
I see you and I understand your process because I was there too.
And WHEN you start to make it, there are going to be people who try and pretend like they were there all along. They’re going to tell people that you’re friends. They’re going to pretend they are connected to you in a deeper capacity than what is really real.
And, from experience, if you’ve underestimated me in anyway, you’re surely mistaken. And you can see it now, can’t you? Your oopsie. You’re miscalculation. Your loss.
Because I have a ton of people who picked me up when I didn’t think I could, people who sat with me while I cried and tired to figure this whole business thing out. There are people who saw me before I saw myself. I’m surrounded by them.
And that’s why your energy is so off putting. And that’s why I will not support you. Ever.
This journey hard points me in the right direction, and I am so grateful for those around me who have supported my dream before it had a heartbeat. Thank you! Thank you for being you, thank you for the time we have spent together, thank you for your tips and advice, and than you for showing me how to be truly reliable and accountable to my goals.
