Irish Pub night at Rosepark!

Tonight our activity room was transformed into our very own Irish Pub 🍀🍻Residents enjoyed a lively evening filled with delicious pub-style favourites prepared by our fantastic Food Service Manager, Nick. With the sounds of classic Irish tunes playing, everyone sang along, and tapped their feet like we were right in the middle of a cozy pub in Ireland.

Of course, no pub night would be complete without a pint or two! There was plenty of laughter, great food, and wonderful company all around.

A big thank you to Nick for the amazing food and to everyone who joined in the fun — it was a shamrockin’ good time! ☘️🎶🍻

🍁🥞 Maple Fest Fun on the Second Floor! 🍁🥞

Our second floor residents joined in on the Maple Fest celebrations with a delicious pancake breakfast which included warm pancakes, maple baccon, and maple sausage. The morning was filled with the sweet smell of maple syrup, and wonderful conversation.

It was a lovely morning full of smiles, laughter, and great company. The perfect way to enjoy maple season together!

Happy International Women’s Day! 💜

Today we took time to celebrate the incredible women in our community with a special Women of Worth Celebration Tea Social. Residents gathered together for a lovely afternoon of tea, sweet treats, and meaningful conversation as we recognized the strength, wisdom, kindness, and life experiences that each woman brings to our community.

It was a beautiful opportunity to reflect on the many contributions women have made throughout their lives—as mothers, daughters, leaders, friends, caregivers, and role models. Their stories, resilience, and accomplishments continue to inspire those around them every day.

We are so grateful to celebrate and honor these remarkable women who make our community such a warm, supportive, and vibrant place to call home. 🌸☕💜

🍁🥞It’s sugar bush season!🍁🥞

We had a wonderful afternoon outing to Wheeler’s Pancake House, where we enjoyed giant, fluffy pancakes and fresh maple syrup made right in-house.

After lunch, we visited the museum and learned all about the season—how maple trees are tapped and the journey from sap to syrup. It was both educational and delicious!

Thank you to the amazing staff at Wheeler’s for helping make our visit so enjoyable!

✨ Purim Celebration with AJA ✨

We had a wonderful time celebrating Purim with the help of our friends from AJA (Aging Jewish Adults)! The day was filled with learning, laughter, and delicious food. Residents enjoyed a lovely stir-fry lunch, got hands-on making traditional hamantaschen, and learned about the history and meaning of this joyful Jewish holiday.

We had an incredible two days filled with entertainment, delicious food, and a wide variety of engaging programming for our “Day in the Life” Open House event.

We kicked things off with a specialty coffee bar featuring a variety of different coffee flavours and sweet treats, creating the perfect atmosphere for guests to connect and explore. Throughout the event, attendees experienced our Fit Minds program, enjoyed lively entertainment by the bluesy swing duo, pool fitness, some vendors and had the opportunity to immerse themselves in everything that makes our community so special.

We wrapped up the event with a delightful wine and cheese social, complete with fun icebreakers that sparked conversation and brought everyone together. It was a wonderful celebration of community, connection, and the vibrant daily life we’re proud to share.

Thank you to everyone who came out to experience all that our beautiful community has to offer! We loved sharing our space, our programs, and the vibrant lifestyle that makes our community so special.

Today’s snowfall made the perfect excuse to slow down and cozy up at Alice’s. There’s something special about watching the snow fall outside while enjoying a warm, comforting meal inside.

Celebrating the Lunar New Year is all about togetherness, good fortune, and delicious food and our residents brought all three to the table.

In the spirit of Lunar New Year, some of our wonderful second-floor residents rolled up their sleeves and headed to the kitchen to make homemade wontons! 🥟✨

There’s something special about honoring traditions through hands-on experiences, and this activity was a beautiful way to welcome the new year with joy, connection, and of course, amazing homemade cooking. Cheers to health, happiness, and prosperity in the year ahead! 🧧

We enjoyed a wonderful evening out at Bâton Rouge Steakhouse & Bar for dinner last night! 🍽️✨We practically had the entire restaurant to ourselves, which made it feel extra special and relaxed. The atmosphere was perfect, the food was delicious as always, and the service was absolutely exceptional.

Happy Valentine's Day! ❤️

We celebrated the day with a charming Sweetheart Photo Booth and a cheerful Valentine's delivery that brought smiles to everyone's faces. Our residents also enjoyed spending time in the main lounge, reminiscing and admiring our beautiful Sweetheart photo display table filled with treasured memories.

One of the most heartwarming moments of the day was discovering that one of our wonderful couples have been married for an incredible 72 years! Their lasting love truly inspired us all and made the celebration even more special.

In the evening, residents enjoyed a lovely Valentine's Day dinner thoughtfully prepared by our wonderful food service team paired with a glass of wine.
