About me

Hi. I’m Nicole (Nikki) Lemire, a bilingual Occupational Therapist with a 200h yoga teacher certification who is passionate about the health and wellbeing of children and their families. I work at On The Ball Pediatric Physio and Occupational Therapy in Orleans, providing services in both French and English.

My family centred, play-based approach to Occupational Therapy supports children of all developmental stages in doing the things they need and want to do in everyday life. As an OT, I look at how a child’s environment and their physical, mental and emotional skills affect their ability to participate in meaningful “occupations” such as playing, making friends and learning at school. Whether it be managing emotions, accepting new foods or improving handwriting, I love working with children of all abilities and their families to achieve their goals.

As a life-long learner, I have training in the following areas:

  • Neuroscience based self-regulation techniques for Autism, ADHD and Sensory Disorders
